Hi everyone
I have an application PCB with a TQFP44 PIC16F18877/PT, which offers dual SPI bus.
By default, the SPI 1 bus lines are allocated: MOSI - RC4 (pin 42), MISO - RC5 (pin 43), SCLK - RC3 (pin 37).
Because in FC7 only the PDIP40 version of PIC16F18877/P is included, the SPI 1 bus is allocated on different pins.
However, if I drop an SPI component to the dashboard and in the properties window I make the corresponding connections to SPI channel 1, the component is shown as connected to all three data pins (as are also defined in the three data remap pins), although the pinout of P16F18877/PT is different from this of the P16F18877/P of FC7.
Do you think that will have a problem?
Is there an FC7 update file for the TQFP44 PIC16F18877/PT?
Thanks

Re: PIC16F18877 TQFP44 - SPI bus
Hello Fotios,
I don't think you will have any problems. Flowcode talks to the port pin rather then the package pin number.Do you think that will have a problem?
No we don't have this at the moment, it would be fairly cosmetic but is fairly easy for you to generate if you think it would be of use. Simply copy the .fcdx file from the "Flowcode 7/FCD/PIC" folder and edit the pin section using a text editor to rearrange and add the four additional pins.Is there an FC7 update file for the TQFP44 PIC16F18877/PT?
