Macro return visual glitch

Post by mnf »

Another minor bug:

While editing a macro call's return value - the variable being type alternates between being visible and invisible depending on the length of the typed string..

So .rv will be invisible (apparently an empty box) then typing another character and the string will become visible (eg .rvv) and so on - another character will make it invisible etc

Clicking on the box also alternates the contents between invisible and visible.

I couldn't replicate this in a small test sketch however.

It's a little bit irritating - but not really a problem. When this sketch (hopefully a component) is a little further forward I'll upload it and mention this again if it is still happening.

Hi Martin,

I've not come across this one. Can you answer the following questions to help us better understand your setup.

What graphics card are you using?
What version of Windows?
What DPI scaling are you using? Default is 100%

Also is it happening just in the software macro return field or for the return field for component macros too?

Hi Ben,

Closing and restarting Flowcode fixed the problem. I've not managed to replicate it either. Put it down to a cosmic ray and if I manage to duplicate it I'll post again.

It occurred after I imported several macros from one sketch into another ( using export then import) which is probably the only different thing I had done.....

I'll experiment a bit this evening and see if I can get similar effect!

Thanks Martin,

Please let us know if you find a way to replicate the issue. Cosmic rays is as good an explanation as any
