Hi,
A member of my family has had a model train set for Christmas, however it was bought second hand and the mains speed controller is missing, the engine has a 12 volt dc motor so I wondered if anybody had a circuit that would work for this application please, I am thinking that a 12 volt transformer and a pic circuit using PWM and possibly an LCD for indication of speed, any info would be appreciated...
Edit
I was thinking of using a pic to create the pwm signal and do the LCD display and using a h bridge chip to drive the motor ?
Thanks In Advance
