What BoostC compiler licence do we get?

Post by Ras »

I'm running FC 6.0.7 for PIC micros and not very happy with the debugging capabilities so far... looking forward to add some hardware to improve this aspect.

For now I'm resorting to MPLAB simulator but want to give the BoostC IDE a try.

Is this possible with the BoostC licence included with FC?
If so how do I go about fully installing the BoostC IDE to access all its capabilities?

BoostC is licensed for use by Flowcode only. The software can not be used in stand alone mode or integrated into another product.

this is really a shame and sad....is there a upgrade possible to use it in stand alone mode ( like MPLAP ) or integrated into another product ?

das ist wirklich schade und traurig ... gibt es eine upgrade Möglichkeit um es in Einzelanwendungen ( wie MPLAP ) oder zum integrieren in anderen Produkten verwenden zu "dürfen"?
