Hi!
I just wanted to know if the infrared board can decode or store the outgoing signal from a e.x TV remote control and after if I can use that signal to resend it back to the TV but not via the remote control but through the infrared board and the TV will respond?(can I manipulate a TV via the infrared board?)
Also I was wondering about the ECIO, can only be powered from the USB socket or they have another socket for plugging in a jack from a power supply unit?
Thank you in advance.
Regards.

Re: INFRARED BOARD com
You have the option of powering the ECIO from the USB port or from an external 5V power supply.
You can use the IrDA E-Block for this, but it is not really recommended (you will basically have to wire the Ir sensor directly to the processor, negating the 2 IrDA protocol chips on the board itself). There is a good article in the "article" section of the forum that shows some appropriate hardware for this.
