Hi Martin,
You didn't seem to have the injector connected to the UART component via the properties.

Hmm, Odd I thought I did and it works with V7 with out any modification, that's why I thought I have changed settings correctly.
After changing settings again it (possibly ) works on V8.
Do you know why the flowchart I posted works with V7 & does it work for you as well?

Hi Martin,
from v7 to v8 we changed how CAL properties worked. Rather then duplicating properties and then copying values back and forth we use the new expose property mechanism to bring the low level property through to be exposed to the user. This helps to vastly cut down on complexity and bugs when creating new CAL based components.
This went for things like the channel, pin connections etc but also the sim side of things such as the injector selection.
