floating point

can anybody point me in the wright direction please.

looking to try to dabble in some floating point maths. . have looked on here and there is a weath of infomation.
but not having done this before i am looking for a bit of a " Numptys guide " if anybody can help me out . . :)

Hello,

What target devices are you using? Most devices are straightforward but 8-bit PICs require the use of the functions available from the calculation icon. The calculation help file should help you to understand the floating point functions.

i am using a PIC16F884 I/P mostly and have a PIC16F73-I/SP to play with as well
going to have a go later on
