Multifunctions tester!

Post by jgu1 »

Hi all!

For all, people "do it themselves", DIY, FC7 guy´s who build electronics. :D

I was surfing around a little on Ebay, and found this tiny tester:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Multifunct ... 2749.l2648

It seems that it can test many types of components and is efficient and relatively inexpensive. I would like to share this information with all my friends here.

There are a couple of demos on Utube here:

Funny guy:

When I receive mine and have test it, I tell my opinion.

Br Jorgen.

Hi Jorgen,

I've been given a few component testers like that over the years. They work very nicely for me, for what I use them for.

I purchased a new tester from a UK supplier for £19.72.
Cant' complain about the cost at all!
Looking forward to having a play.
From what I can tell only test zener diodes in A K . All other diodes in the numbers 1 to 3
The terminals connected together are for calibration only.
I will let you know how I get on with when it arrives.

Hi Jorgen,
I have now had some time to use the tester.
It's great at identifying components.
It's more as a guide than anything but I have no regrets of the purchase at all.
It even detects the zener diode up to 30V.
I think it makes a great edition to anyone in to electronics.
I use it for the quick ID of unsorted components.
