Just installed the 30day version of flowcode 8 tried to compile hex for Arm but i have an error of "arm compiler toolchain is not installed" is there a 3rd party compiler i need to install please.

All of the toolchains are available on the Flowcode download page:

We have separated them from the main install to reduce it's size.

What is your target processor?
Have you installed the correct ARM toolchain?
These are normally installed at "//Program Files (86)/Flowcode/Common/Compilers"
Could you check what you have there?

You've downloaded it but did you install it?I've down loaded the tool chain but still says not installed

The file is a.msi extension. It's sitted in my download files.
do I need to create a file in the flowcode folder and put it in there???

You need to run the file. Msi files are installation packages.
