Post by Steve001 »

Morning all,

For all of you that have spelling as bad as mine :) this add in for internext explorer is fantastic .
ieSpell is a free Internet Explorer browser extension that spell checks text input boxes on a webpage.

I have used that before and have to agree its great!
That's a very good suggestion Steve thank you.
John have a good point.
I believe language defaults to US?

I also use opera because spell checker is built in and it underlines words in red if spelt incorrectly as you type.
Plus I like the way speed dial feature works.

I have just reinstalled it, as your posts have reminded me how good it is.
So I have two browsers to rely on for spelling.
if we had a new sporting event in the Olympics for the worst speller, I would win the gold medal!
I heavily rely on the browser spell checker for all my posts :P

I use google chrome instead of IE.
It has a built in spell checker  .

I can choose between French, Dutch, Spanish and English by right-clicking and then go to spell check options.
Also, you can add as many languages as you'd like !

Hello,

Firefox also has dictionary plugins which highlight any text errors in input fields and allows you to right click and choose the appropriate correct spelling as in MS Word. I've always found IE fairly unusable.
