Eico 40 pin

Hi!

I am trying to make project in Eico 40. I am able to set output C4 + C5 in conntection proberties, but i can´t see the pin C4 + C5 on the chip :?: :?: Can anyboby tell wich pinnumber C4 + C5 is.

Hi. This threw me at first!

For the ECIO40, pins C4 and C5 are used for USB comms to enable reprogramming. They are not shown on the chip view for this reason (though they are on the 18F4455 chip view). However, if for some reason you want to program once and never allow reprogramming, I'm told you could turn USB off and use those pins for I/O instead.

You should avoid using these pins if you have any option to do so.
