Where is the PWM and LUT

Post by viki2000 »

Hi,

I use FlowCode v6. The PC is Win7 64bits.
I tried several PICs as PIC16F88, PIC18F4550, PIC16F877A with the same result.
The FlowCode v6 works, but I cannot find the PWM component.

So far I tried next:
- Looking at the Flowcode Help File and searching at Outputs and Mechatronics. It is not there.
- I downloaded the PWMDemo.fcfx and the PWM component is present, I see it and the program works correctly.
- I have tried the same steps as fisrt time with FlowCode v5, where is no problem, then I imported the files in v6 and again I can see the PWM and works fine.

Then, what is my problem?
If I start a new project and I place one of the follwoing PICs : PIC16F88, PIC18F4550, PIC16F877A, or generally speaking any supported PIC with PWM function, then if I want to add the PWM component from menu, I cannot see it.
Where is it hidden? How do I activate it?

I have the same question for LUT (Look Up Table).
The example which I downloaded from Flowcode Help File online named LUT.fcfx shows me the LUT component, but if I start from scratch a new project, I cannot find it to place it in my project. I tried all menus, starting with Storage.
Where is LUT component hidden? How do I place it in my project?

Hi viki2000,
To add PWM and LUT the easiest way is to click on the search icon.
Then in the search box enter PWM or LUT.

Thank you Martin.
I just found that 30sec before I have read your post.
Why I did not try that in those 15-20 min of my previous search, before posting, is hard to say...
Thank you one more time for the quick answer.
