Hello,
I wanted to ask if Matrix Mult. has any plans releasing any android app that can connect directly on the zigbee or any other module of the matrix boards?
Also another idea is, for an app with which the phone would connect through wifi to a PC running a server software; which server can communicate with a matrix main board connected to it by usb cable; offering us a great home and business connectivity!
Thank you,
Best Regards
Andreas Achilleos

Re: Android App for matrix board
Hello Andreas,
I have written a couple of Matrix Android apps that communicate either through Bluetooth or Wifi.
Here is one article on Bluetooth: http://www.matrixtsl.com/article.php?a=662
And here is another on Wifi: http://www.matrixtsl.com/article.php?a=672
We also have this series of Blogs which used the accelerometer from an Android phone/tablet and communicated via Bluetooth: http://www.matrixtsl.com/blog/creating- ... tform-pt1/
We haven't released any apps yet but there are lots of pre-built ones out there if you don't want to make your own.

Hello,
Wifi / Ethernet should both work the same, only the embedded program will need to change to talk to the new module. The Android example should work well with both as is.

Hello,
That is great, thank you!
Concerning the embedded, do I change only the component? The rest of the concept ( flowchart details) remain the same?
Thank you
