Flowcode not working in live build

Post by JLeith »

I'm very puzzeled as to why my Quad display will not work on the breadboard

I have looked the the Quad settings and also the chip parameters and everything looks and runs 100%.

I can only get 1 display to light up in the Quad
I have no open leads on the build

I have tried everything I can think of but the Com lines don't work as in flowcode
The Quad is a Common Cathode

I have attached my drawing and the Flowcode
The pushbuttons and Leds work just no the Quad

2 days and just can't see the fault

John

Hi John,
Happy New Year.
Issue is with setting up of the timer interrupt.
Double click on the interrupt to show properties.
You will need to change

Code: Select all

Clock Source Select
from

Code: Select all

Transition on T0CKI pin
to

Code: Select all

 Internal clock (CLKO)
Perhaps you can also change

Code: Select all

Prescaler Rate
from

Code: Select all

1:1 to 1:32

Hello Martin

All the best for 2017

I have hard copies of our conversations since the begiinings and I could not find that glitch.

I tried to use an old design and just modify the actions and never thought that the flowcode simulatiuon would not give me help when it works in flowcode and not when programmed to live action

I think many users build the design and then build the live model.

I attached a picture for others to be aware if they search for answers.

I know my project for Halloween is early but it takes me a while to make projects happen.

Your help has always be a saving part.

Thank you
