Arduino Due R3 Atmel AT91SAM3X8E & ARM MCU's

Post by Alan_37 »

Hi

I'm Considering to port my Project to Arduino Due R3 Atmel AT91SAM3X8E ARM
which cost the same as the mega 2560 , unfortunately Flowcode dose not seem to support
this , is it possible to have flowcode support this MCU

https://www.arduino.cc/en/Main/arduinoBoardDue

Arduino Due R3

Thanks

Hi

Here is another cheap but powerful board STM32F407ZET6 development board
Which will be very nice to have supported by flowcode .

Hello Alan,

We previously supported some of the Atmel ARM chips. However they have not proven very popular and so we are cautious about supporting more of these.

We are working hard on a new addition to the ARM chip pack which is support for the STARM devices. So your second request should hopefully be available very soon.

Hi,
We are working on a few of the STM32F0, F3, F4 and F7 and a range the Nucleo and Discovery boards from ST.
Yes, we will support the ST-LINK via the command line utility, so your board can be programmed from the "Compile to Chip" button.
For the ST development boards that have the virtual drive (MBED feature) we are using that for the "Compile to Chip" function.
But it's also user re-configurable as usual.

Hi Leighm

Yes that is very interesting , so can you confirm that the STM32F407ZET6 will be supported ?
if you confirm will order the boards now cause they will take a wile to arrive :D

There are also some good dev boards with STM32F103 hope will be supported to .

Thanks

We currently have some versions of F4 in progress, but not 407.
We will have to have a look at what work is needed to support it or how different it is to say 411 which we do have.
Note that we will not initially be able to support all peripherals on the included devices, but at least the basic ones (UART, PWM etc as the CAL)
F1 is not in our plans at the moment, it's too much unlike all the other F families.

Hi LeighM

ehhhh I relay hoped for the 407 to be supported :( cause there so many low cost
dev Boards that use it .

will wait to see the list than and hope will be included .

Thanks
