Hi,
I have 3 switches on Port E of the ECIO 40P but noticed that Pin E2 (AN7) is pulled high on the ECIO board, Can pin E2 be used for other functions or is it reserved for an ECIO specific function?
Cheers, J.

Hello,
Pin E2 is used for the LED on the ECIO and the autodetect for the USB.
If you read the pin and the USB is connected then you will get a 1, otherwise you will get a 0.
If you output a 1 to the pin the LED will light, outputting a 0 will clear the LED.
The pin can also be used for external signals but you should be aware that due to this other functionality it is not as clean as the other I/O pins on the device.
