Using an ECIO as a USB analogue oscilloscope
For this
month's Knowledge Exchange, we explain how to use
an ECIO and Flowcode (USB and Analogue components) to create a very low cost
basic scope that will replicate most of the functionality of an oscilloscope.
“Oscilloscopes
are common place in electronics workshops and laboratories. However they can be
expensive to get hold of and in a lot of cases they are bulky and more than is
needed for the job …” read more
ECIO
ECIO devices are powerful USB programmable microcontrollers with either
28 or 40 pin standard DIL (0.6”) footprints. They are perfect for
student use at home, project work and building fully integrated
embedded systems. For more information, including one for ATMEL ARM click
here.
This kit is designed for anyone who
wants to learn microcontroller circuit development at home. You can download10 projects which include clear explanations, schematics, pictures and programs
to build your projects. Click
here for more details.

Using Microchips HITECH C compiler with Flowcode 4
In this month's Knowledge Exchange, we demonstrate how to generate code that is compatible with the Microchips HITECH C 10F-12F-16F and 18F
compiler with Flowcode 4.2. All Flowcode 4 users can download this update by clicking here.
“Flowcode
versions V4.2 or later now come capable of generating code that is compatible
with the Microchips HITECH C...” read more
