World Didac Basel attendance

At Matrix, we are well connected in ensuring our products and services are accessible to potential users all over the World. In education for example, we are members of the World Didac Association. This October, a team of three from Matrix made the trip to the beautiful city of Basel in Switzerland for three days of meeting with existing and current representatives and distributors of our products from all over the globe.

The trip was made for the World Didac Basel Exhibition which is held in the city every two years. It gives us the opportunity to show the developments we have made with the solutions we offer, particularly into education. We took time to meet with distributors of Matrix products from places including Russia, the United Arab Emirates, Mexico, Belgium and France amongst others.

On the picture below, you can see the Matrix team including Managing Director John Dobson (position on the picture), R&D and Sales Manager, Mark Illidge (position on the picture) and Business Development Manager, Liam Walton (position on the picture) meeting with partners from St Petersburg Telecommunications University in Russia.

The exhibition itself threw up a number of interesting questions for the Matrix team including the potential for a number of new partners in new markets across the World.

On the stand itself, we were able to show some of our most recently developed products. This was the first time we have been able to show Ghost Technology at an education focused show, for example. Ghost Technology allows users of our graphical flowchart programming software, Flowcode to represent live activity on microcontrollers directly on their laptop or PC without the need for test equipment such as oscilloscopes or imprudence analysers.

This caused quite a lot of interest for us. After all, there is only the need for the student to use the EB006 e-block with Flowcode in order to reap the benefits.

Other experiments on our stand over the course of the show included our Automotive Sense & Control Locktronics solution and our Automatics Control Solution (link all of these).

We have a number of educational exhibitions lined up for the New Year, too. In January we will be exhibiting at ASE at the University of Reading and at BETT, London. Then in February we will be at GESS in Dubai. We hope to see some of you there.
