A simple timing circuit is shown in the figure. At time t = 0 the switch is moved from position 2 to position 1. The switch is then left in position 1 until t = 4 s and then moved to position 2. Assuming that the capacitor, C, is initially uncharged, sketch graphs that show:
- How the voltage developed across the capacitor varies with time over the range t = 0 to t = 10 s.
- How the current flowing in the capacitor varies with time over the range t = 0 to t = 10 s.
- Label your graphs clearly.
