The problem is caused by 2 different versions of the PPP programming software sharing the same location for their registry data.

There are two workarounds:

1) The first is simply to go into the configuration screen in Flowcode V5 and click "OK" (Build...Project Options...Configure Chip...OK) - this will put the missing information into the registry.

2) An alternative fix is to change the "config slot" used by Flowcode V5 by editing the Programmer tab of the "Compiler Options" window as shown in this image.
