Hardware : EB006 Multiprogrammer with LCD and PIC16F628

Symptoms :

When the LCD is plugged into the E-blocks port B the 16F628 will fail to program

Cause :

This is an odd error we have found and we are not sure of its cause. Possibly it is something to do with a slightly different setup of the Port B hardware.

Solution :

Unplugging the LCD will allow the PIC to program. Only seems to affect the 16F628 at the moment. 16F648A and 16F88 etc. are unaffected.
