Why does my ARM E-Block appears in Windows as device not recognised?

Hardware : EB185, EB031, EB034

Symptoms :

The device may not enumerate on the USB and you receive a USB device not recognised warning in Windows.

Cause :

a) The bootloader firmware has become corrupted.

b) There is a program running that is toggling the output controlling the USB pullup circuitry. Pressing Prog and tapping Reset allows the device to be recognised again.

Solution :

a) Follow the instructions documented inside the Flowcode_ARM/Tools/Bootloader folder.

b) Use J18 to disconnect from the USB circuitry while running programs not meant for USB comms.
