Re: PIC18F4520 and RC5

Hello Jorgen, Updates like this are specifically targeted at fixing bugs generally related to code running on specific devices where the register name or layout might be slightly different. Minor fixes like this are pretty spread out on the forums so each minor update of Flowcode we gather together ...

Re: PIC18F4520 and RC5

Hi Jorgen,

Yes 5.3 will include all bug fixes published on the forums including minor bug fixes.

The is the policy we normally adopt so v5.2 had all the bug fixes from v5.1 and up to the release of 5.2 if this makes sense :)

Re: RS232 Rx Flowcode

The interrupt-on-change can be used on more input pins. But I found that these interrupts-on-change are less accurate compared to the INT interrupt. In this version 3.1 I replaced the interrupt-on-change by the INT interrupt. However only the INT-pin can be used in this case. Thus less flexible, but...

Re: RS232 Rx Flowcode

Please find attached the second version. In this one the Timeout has been introduced. This made the reading more flexible. Now strings with variable length are possible. 1.) Input parameters (Init macro) are: Baud rate , maximum number of characters in the string, oscillator frequency and timeout 2....

RS232 Rx Flowcode

Please find a flowcode macro to receive a string with any baud rate between 1200 and 19200 Hz. I had troubles with receiving correct data between 2 microchips using RS232 (see elsewhere). That made me to look more in details of the protocol of RS232. That is simple. And that made me think that I can...

Re: Display 4X20 scroll

Hi, This is happening because in LCD Line 0 and 2 are addressed one after another and line 1 & 3 are addressed one after another.. http://www.datasheetcatalog.org/datasheet/vishay/020m004b.pdf So..scrolling causes data to send to 3rd line after first..if you check my attached program you will be...

Hi
This is to use 2 line scrolling together...Although simulation shows different, works in hardware. :)

Re: RS232 Rx Flowcode

In the meanwhile I extended this program for RS232 with output on two lines of the LCD. The newline-carriagereturn character can be choosen by yourself. In this file attached I used the @ for a new line. E.g. Sending "Hello world" will be displayed as: Hello world. And "Hello@world&qu...

Re: GPS!

Hello, Gary is correct having the setting "Extended CPU" enabled is known to cause problems with string data and arrays which are used by the GPS component. My starting point would be to use a 1 second led flasher to test that all your Flowcode settings are correct for your hardware. Once ...

Re: GPS!

Hi Jorgen I just had a look at the configuration and currently you have PortB A/D Enable set to configured as analog on reset should be digital as you are using this for the LCD. And you also have Extended CPU Enabled, not sure what his does but I have disabled this when using 18F2455/4455 Hope this...

Re: Update 5.3

Hello Jorgen,

Due to an internal problem with 5.3 we did not release it to the public and spent time updating to 5.4, so there never was a public 5.3 release.

Re: Bugs or not!

Hi,
Definitely ok to ask..otherwise how do you know. You might face the similar problem. It's always better to ask. I will confirm one after testing in hardware..But for CAN, it seems something went wrong in the c which Ben didn't mention but fixed.

Re: PORT INTERRUPT in flowcode v5.4

Right sorry about the delay. I have tested the 16F887 with Enamul's program and the hardware is correctly responding to both the rising and falling edges. If I click the switch in a certain way it looks like the interrupt has not fired but it has actually fired twice due to the bouncing on the switc...

Hi All! :D I have a couble of max 7219 SPI 7 segm. driver. I can see that it use SPI for data input. Can I use the SPI component in FC to drive this chip? Re: SPI/Max7219

Hello, This is really a nice chip..Can be easily used with FC spi component as mentioned by Henry. But I want to add something with Henry. Pin1 (DIN) of MAX ic is the data input and should be connected to data signal of SPI and pin13 (clk) of MAX ic will be connected to SCK of SPI..But LOAD(PIN12) p...
