Re: SSD1289 TFT SDD1963

Hello,

Right here is a component for the SSD1289 based on the custom code file.

gLCD_SSD1289.fcpx

Let me know how you get on with it, if it's ok then I'll add it to the next release.

Re: SSD1289 TFT SDD1963

Hello,

I have found the custom code for the ssd1289 display. Will this also work with the ssd1963 device? I'll have a go at wrapping up the custom code into a component. Should be fairly simple to do.

Re: RC5 remote control

I don't currently have a V3 compatible version of the full MIAC program, but here are some of the development programs. The PIC version is for a PIC16F84A @ 4MHz (V3) The AVR version is for an ATmega324P @ 20MHz (V4) Both have interrupt service routines with an identical structure. The main differen...

Re: Arduino Mega2560 SPI bug

Hello, I've done some investigation and the problem isn't anything to do with Flowcode, it's a feature of AVR! If you setup hardware SPI on an AVR device then it will automatically allow the Slave Select functionality even in Master mode?! This means if the SS pin (RB0 on the Mega 2560) floats high ...

Re: LUFA AVRISP MKII and Flowcode v6

Hello, Wow that looks really good for a homemade PCB! out of interest how did you do the solder resist layer and make it look so good? AVR studio 3 came with drivers for the AVRISP that were compatible with the Flowcode AVRdude instance however it seems AVR studio 4 has different drivers which don't...

Re: LUFA AVRISP MKII and Flowcode v6

Hello,

By default the AVR compiler options, programmer tab should refer to the AVRISP mkII.

Location: $(appdir)compilers\avr\batchfiles\avrc.bat
Parameters: AVRDUDE $(chipalt) $(chip:l) "$(outdir)$(target).hex" "$(target).hex" 0 $(cfg0) $(cfg1) $(cfg2) $(cfg3)

Registering Flowcode on Windows XP

Hello. For anyone having license troubles registering Flowcode on Win XP, make sure you have required permissions to do so. This means ensuring that "Protect my computer and data from unauthorized program activity" is unchecked . Otherwise Flowcode will not be able to make the required cha...

Re: Registering Flowcode on Windows XP

Hello Trevor, This is just a cosmetic issue, your license should work correctly. When activating your license you are prompted to change your 'Flowcode username', by default this is set to your trail ID, and for the release version of Flowcode 6 it was set to 30Day_(trial ID). if you would like, you...

I did the update at 1820 and have had no problems with downloading or installing: Flowcode V6.0.9.png My windows version is 64bit win 7. Perhaps you can check for updates again, and download the new ve...

Re: Installation problem

Could you check the file length? It should be 195364484 bytes. If the file is smaller you probably downloaded it while it had not yet been fully uploaded.

Re: DSP component PI, PID issues

Hello,

Currently the PI and D values are fixed via the property settings and cannot be altered during runtime. We might be able to add in an option to allow for changes on the fly so I will look into this for you and see how easy it would be.

Re: DSP component PI, PID issues

Hello, As you are compiling using an 8-bit PIC this uses the BoostC compiler which has issues surrounding float variables. They are handled using functions rather than natively via the language and so cannot be re-entered in the main and again via an interrupt. To get around the problem can you move...

Re: gyroscope

Hi Matt, A gyroscope gives you rate of change rather than balance. An accelerometer gives you balance but this is also tainted with acceleration. An accelerometer can be combined with a gyroscope to use the rate of change to eliminate the acceleration portion of the accelerometer data giving you tru...

Re: Enabling internal pull-ups on AVR's

If you need to program the registers in a micro, which is required to do what you need, without using the 'Insert C Code' icon you could try this method. Define a Flowcode variable in Supplementary Code... to be the register you need to use and then add that variable to the Project explorer. You can...
