Re: Gas flow meter/pressure and O2 measurement

Hi Giovanni, I too cannot stress more what Ets Driver has mentioned I recommend looking at Omron for gas flow sensors. i recommend highly to keep away from cheap chinese ebay sensors. they are just more hassle they they are worth and some can be dangerous have a look on here we use them at work and ...

Re: dsPIC ECIO40P16 and internal CAN

The controller on the ECIO 40P16 has a silicon issue which reverses that particular bit. May-be a property can be introduced to allow users to determine activation of a work-around. (Hard coding would work as long as Microchip does not release fixed silicon)

See errata for devices affected.

Re: Included PICs

Hi Docara If the device you need is not included in the free version then you will have to buy that chip pack. The free version only has a limited selection the most popular devices included. http://www.matrixtsl.com/resources/files/datasheets/flowcode7-datasheet.pdf This is a link to the FC7 data s...

Re: FC7 Programmer

You can use a simple PicKit 3 which cost around $49.00 which can program All pic's and use the flowkit from Marix for debugging which is board independent here for Gost debugging http://www.matrixtsl.com/webshop/flowkit-v2.html The one problem all people have is that it is not possible to build 1 bo...

Re: FC7 Compile-to-Hex fails on PIC 18F2331

Great - thanks for the rapid response Leigh. It makes all the effort that Niall and I put into getting things going seem worthwhile (especially since neither of us have any 'formal' training in any kind of programming language, but are merely just 'key bashers', always trying our best to overcome ob...

My working ESP8266 weather forecast example..

I've made a weather forecast example with the Flowcode ESP8266 (ESP) Wifi component. :D This shows the forecast for the next 10 days on a 4*20 LCD display for my hometown. Before I write a thing about the actual file, I need to point to certain sources on which I found the information to get this fi...

Have you found the Flowcode Learning Centre and more specifically Flowcode beginners course? Those resources should help you get started with the basics.

Unable to access local variables in the simulation debugger

Hi,

During simulation i am finding that if you have jumped to a macro, in the simulation debugger window, if you want to add global variables to watch you are able to but are unable to access the local variables from the variable manager to add those as well.

Comments overlap each other

Hi,

No real issue, more of an appearance thing. In a flow chart where comments are present, the comments sometimes overlap each other.

Re: EB-094 DMOS Motor Driver Board (using L6206)

Hi! EB094 needs these connections: P0 Bridge A enable (Motor output goes to HighZ if Low, high to enable control) P1 Bridge A protection (HIGH if OK, LOW if Problem detected) P2 Output A1 control, (High = IN1A sources VPwr / Low = sinks to GND.) P3 Output A2 control, (High = IN2A sources VPwr / Low ...

Re: EB-094 DMOS Motor Driver Board (using L6206)

The two questions I was really posing were:- "Is what I am doing 'correct', or is there a better way?" "Is there any example code for use with the EB-094 - after all, nearly every other EBlock has such resources available?"[/list] Hi Bill, I would advise you to look at the Power...

32 Bit Microcontrollers

Flowcode 7 can now handle 32bit PICs, so I decided to invest in a simple inexpensive development board and give it a try. The board is based on the Arduino Uno and will take some of the shields. Care must be taken as the board is a 3.3 V device but most lines are 5V tolerant. The digital and analogu...

Re: Counter to track engine crankshaft angle

To the right in the image at the red arrow, you are dealing with hardware connections totally outside the program flow (I guess). Yes. But they can be user selectable. Although if you are using an Interrupt On Change (IOC) your choice will be limited. 1. ResetCounter is controlled by software. It s...

Re: LCD EB005 without macros

Hi Jan You can get a manual for the compiler at the Microchip web page , If you are using a PIC18 then the ADCON0 bit one is the GO/DONE bit In the XC compiler you would use ADCON0bits.DONE however I saw a post from Martin which mentioned something about to add the over score you need to include $ s...

Re: Closing of Compiler report window

OK - I hear what you say. But, if "DoNothing.exe" doesn't do anything, why is it there? And why call it? Probably because Flowcode traditionally runs a compiler first and a linker afterwards. For XC8 which does both in one run the option was to change the Flowcode internals and settings d...

I have got a LoRaWAN component for the RN2483 ready. Has been field tested for well over 6 months now. Adding code for the RN2903 is 'trivial', testing it will not be possible for me as I'm in Europe and the frequencies used by that module are in use for GSM communications over here. Re: Compilation error

That is a notice you can safely ignore. It means Microchip knows there is an error in the silicon (controller chip) and have a software work-around which the compiler automatically applies to make sure your code does not suffer ill effects from the bug.
