Re: Using the ESP8266 examples

Could you try attached component where you are able to change the response to expect in the properties? (Set the responses your firmware provides in the items below ESP Responses)

Re: Flowcode 6 and Windows 10

Hi Leigh

Thank you for your response. You are right on.
I turned off defender and loading only took 4 sec.
I then added Flowcode 5 and 6 folders to the Defender exclusions found under settings
and Flowcode is now loading fast.

Thank you for your help

Re: MIAC Advanced

Ah ha, that matches up much better with what i could see flowcode trying to do with it, and explains the options, thanks. The option to set 16bit responses also fixes the other issue i was having, as it makes UART_ReceiveChar return 0x200 for no data, instead of 0xFF. thanks btw, if anyone else is l...

Re: problem programming a keypad

I created a flowcode V5 simple door lock.
That could also give you an idea on how to compare entered numbers with a number stored within a variable.
You can load it into flowcode V6 by using Open, then changing Flowcode project files (*.fcfx) drop down to Flowcode for pic files (*.fcf)

Re: Wake from SLEEP using TMR1 interrupt

Finally got this working. If anyone has this problem in the future add the C code "set_bit(t1con,2);" after the flowcode TMR1 interrupt enable Macro (on my flowchart above). From PIC16F88 data sheet: T1CON bit 2 T1SYNC: Timer1 External Clock Input Synchronization Control bit TMR1CS = 1: 1 ...

Re: Copy Properties to custom component?

You will need to implement an event handler for the property change event. Every time it fires you need to copy your settings to the underlying component and then read back the appropriate values for 'static' settings like hardware pins for hardware SPI. (Which means you need to decide which propert...

Re: WARNING: This interrupt ...

Hello LeighM,
thanks for the reply. You were right. At one point I have to latch a few int registers before going into sleep mode. I did now put all the int stuff in an extra macro and the messages are gone. Perfect!

Hi! rs232_init_missingh.PNG I see your program is missing RS232 init.. And here is a tiny suggestion for receiving data on RXint: You could do the receiving using something like this, as this will time out if timeout is specified or if the \r is received, it will jump out. I personally use this bit ...

Please find an update of the RC speed control of DC motors. I tried a lot to improve it, but without success. Th...

Re: Gas flow meter/pressure and O2 measurement

Hi Giovanni, I would recommend that your starting point is to find industrial grade sensors that are suited to your task. For example the difficult bit is usually physically interfacing the sensor into the plumbing (pipework) of the system that you're trying to monitor. Given the industrial solution...

Re: Gas flow meter/pressure and O2 measurement

I recommend looking at Omron for gas flow sensors. For example for smaller usage: Omron D6F-N2/-L2 MEMS Flow Sensor Or for higher capacity, there are RS485 Modbus Slave gas flow meters available, but at the moment i could not get the manufacturer to my head... As a precaution, pure Argon is tasteles...
