Re: Add functions to Pic18F26J50 and Pic18F27J13

Evening. Sometimes it takes time to get through all the posts Errol, though we do try to answer posts as quickly as possible. Perhaps we are too busy adding RTC functionality to Flowcode? Unfortunately, I don't think this has been mentioned as a component in v6 - our main priority at present is conv...

Re: dsPIC33EP512MU814 config questions

I want to run this dsPIC at maximum speed which is 140Mhz (70MIPS) but it's not exactly as easy as sticking a 10Mhz crystal and a couple of capacitors between the OSC1 and OSC2 pins, setting 140Mhz as clock speed in FC and setting the 10Mhz value of the crystal in the configuration tab of FC and be...

Re: dsPIC33EP512MU814 config questions

In the mean time you can use the files here and they should allow a 16-bit PIC to compile with USB functionality.

Re: Writing to mysql from a pic... possible?

Hello, The easiest way to learn this stuff is to do it from your home PC and then apply it to your remote server at a later date if you need world wide web access. 1) Download and install EasyPHP - Creates an Apache web server on your PC with PHP and mySQL support built in. 2) The address is the IP ...

Re: PIC floating point questions

Hello, Looks like the fround function is not supported in BoostC. I would put the question to the guys at Sourceboost and see if they can explain why the function is not in their compiler. Things like cos, tan, atan etc would also be very nice. Float support in general without having to use these we...

Hello,

In your config settings turn off the "Extended Instruction Set" setting, this is known to do strange things with data arrays and fingers crossed this will fix the problems you've having.

Re: Internal CAN PIC18F26K80

1. You need to call CheckRx before calling GetRxData. The CheckRx call will check if any data has been received and copy it to a buffer, the GetRxData call only returns the content of the buffer and does not try to read the CAN message from the controller. 2. It is better to set the ID and mask (usi...

Re: UTFT component? perfect for many graphic displays

You basically need something to automatically override the ASCII2 setting for you, luckily Flowcode can now do things like th...
