Re: Copy and paste a file on SDcard?

I checked you code and it kind of works, if you run the simulation twice. The first run of the simulation will successfully make the text file but doesn't add the text therein. If you run a second time, it will write the text. I haven't tried it on real hardware yet.

Re: Copy and paste a file on SDcard?

That's what I was going to try next. I'll let you know what I come up with...

Remembering component properties window width

Seems every time I resize my component properties window width so I can then make the left hand column bigger, it goes back to the default size after I reopen FC6. It's annoying and could easily be fixed.

Thanks,

Re: FCD file for 18FxxK50

Thanks for that. I couldn't get your hex or compiled fcfx file to work but your fcdx file fixed my problem! Here's my working fcfx file:

porta_blink_1sec.fcfx

Now on to USB and LCD!

Re: UTFT component? perfect for many graphic displays

Could you also add support for this model: http://www.microsofttranslator.com/bv.aspx?from=&to=en&a=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.14blog.com%2Farchives%2F1358 It only has 4 pins. More info on how some people got it working on Arduino here http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?PHPSESSID=oo4b8tbgfmloovn3j6mh5p...

Re: UTFT component? perfect for many graphic displays

As far as I know, the current chip (18F25K50 - I changed it again from the 18F2550) is running at 48mhz... That's another reason I posted the fcfx files for you.

Re: UTFT component? perfect for many graphic displays

Way faster, but still not instantaneous:

I'll check the C file and change line 308 now.

*edit*

Ben, you're a long-haired genius! removing the 10ms delay fixed it. Now I'm going to go back and change the nop delay back to 1us and see if it works.

Re: UTFT component? perfect for many graphic displays

Before we put the last nail in the coffin, I'll run some more tests for writing, clearing, rewriting, etc. I'll get back with you promptly.

*edit*

I have limited equipment for testing here. I'll have to wait until I can get to my lab.

Re: UTFT component? perfect for many graphic displays

Case closed. Adding a 1s delay before initializing did the trick. I thought I had done that in some previous tests, but I digress. Thanks for all your assistance, Ben. Now, back to overclocking with nop statements to speed up multi-line writing...

Re: RC5 component for PIC16 or PIC18 (help!)

That would be great. It was fairly simple to get this to work with the Arduino software.
