Re: PlayNote macro for your needs

Hi EtsDriver,
Sorry my fault.
I saw you have posted the same post so I thought you have duplicated it.
I did not know you had deleted the original

I can move this thread to correct section

Oscilloscope Features of FlowKIT

The FlowKIT device comes with a large USB microcontroller to control the USB functionalities of the device. As well as performing the main functionality there is some free memory on these USB chips and a lot of free I/O pins so we have created a very basic scope interface to add to the capabilities ...

Re: One wire

Hello, Ok thanks, Might be worth looking at the demo's here as these are known to work well in v6. http://www.matrixmultimedia.com/wiki/index.php?title=Component:_One_Wire_%28Comms%29 Let me know if this helps at all, if not then can you get access to a scope you can use to look at the one wire sign...

Re: adc voltage sample program

Hello, The problem seems to be related to the chip definition file. Here is an updated file that should resolve the issue. Simply pop the file into your "C:\Program Files (x86)\Flowcode 6\FCD\AVR" folder and restart Flowcode and then it should all work correctly. Let me know how you get on.

Re: DATA pin of ICD cannot be changed on ATMEL chips

Hello, Thanks for posting the bug, I have added it to the list. For now you can workaround the issue by changing the defaults in the FCDX definition file. There is a section right at the end of the file that looks like this. <test > <icd > <clock port='1' pin='6' /> <data port='1' pin='7' /> </icd> ...

Re: ICD Now unusable from 6.0.9

I probably read you post before you posted picture, so did not see it
Have you got the professional version of V6?

I believe ICD is available for professional versions only.

Re: @MM: MATRIX Ltd. 6.0.7 ./. MATRIX TSL 6.0.9

Hello,

This is simply a name change for the company to better reflect what we do as Matrix 'Multimedia' no longer represents what we do.

Re: Flowcode v6.0.9 Live

Hi Rudi,

For the USB (Serial) issues, can you try these files, drop them into your installation directories...
Flowcode 6\compilers\pic\boostc\include\USB
Flowcode 6\CAL\PIC\USB

(we are going to consolidate these into one directory, but best placed in both for now)

Thanks

Re: No Hurry! Q: Handbook Flowcode 6 / Selfmade courses

Hi Rudi, Is it possible / allowed this to do by a private person flowcode developer? to make a "Handbook"? We do allow authors to write books on our software. Bert Van Damn has written a couple for Elektor and there is now a new one specific to v6 on it's way. As for writing your own book ...

Re: No Hurry! Q: Handbook Flowcode 6 / Selfmade courses

Hi Rudi and all!

I have also bought Berts van Daam´s book. It has given me much learning. The more information and textbooks and other training materials we can get for Flowcode the better. So Rudi just get started.

Best regard

Re: Switch array and led array Atmega problem

Re: Servo issue with 16F88

Hi EtsDriver, Servos will only work if there are two CCP channels. Unfortunately 16F88 only has one CCP channel hence the errors. :( I you would like to use 16F88 then you can bit bang servo using timer interrupts. I can help you with that if you get stuck. Alternatively you can choose a different t...

Re: Servo issue with 16F88

Think have to use the PWM output for the servo then, try and error is the best teacher! I do agree with that! You probably wont be able to use PWM component within flowcode, as the pulse has to be every 20ms which is too low for PWM. Depending on servo, on duration will be from 0.75 to 2.25ms for t...

Do you have multiple devices from Matrix plugged in at the same time? If so can you try with only one device plugged in at a time.

Re: atmega 328 TQFP

Hello,

I have created a new definition file for you so you have access to those ADC pins.

The file needs to be placed here "C:\Program Files (x86)\Flowcode 6\FCD\AVR" before starting Flowcode.

Let me know how you get on.

Re: Flowcode v6.1.1.0 -- won't generate hex code

Okay, problem solved. While looking over his shoulder, I got my friend to uninstall Flowcode and then use Regedit to find and delete any remaining references to 'Flowcode' in the Windows Registry -- and there were lots of remaining references. Then we reinstalled Flowcode and it worked perfectly. So...

Re: [BUG] MIAC V1 software to MIAC V2, CAN Bus bug

Hi

Thanks for the bug find.
As you reported, the CAN component was not correctly setting the CS pin for the V2 18F4550 based MIAC.
Please try the attached fixed version.
Place it in your Flowcode 6 components directory.

Re: 18f4550 clock settings to get usb running?

Hello, the "send config now" button is gray all times This button is for AVR devices only. With PIC and 16-bit PIC the config is added to the C code and compiled into the hex file that is sent to the device during the compile to chip process. These would be the settings for a 20MHz crystal...

Re: Profibus and Profinet

Hello,

I think Profibus and Profinet are possible but might require a fair amount of work. I will get them on the list and investigate the protocol to see how easy they would be to pull off.
