Re: 3C : LCD I2C

The bus frequency is 100kHz, writing a register will take about 300us. It could be a bit slow for some components, but ...

Re: Programming 16F1827 on EB006 multiprogrammer board

I also done a silly thing,so anyone reading this: Warning "Please don't do this at home :P" Do not accidentally wire 13V psu to the 5V (+v) otherwise you will require a new programmer like I do right now! In my defence, I was stressed with other things at the the time. On the bright side,...

Re: Lottery Numbers Generator (Flowcode V4)

Hi, I came up with another way on how to make random numbers that changes on every start-up / reset. So my idea is to use the EEPROM, as I never use it and has random values stored. Take the first two values of the EEPROM (address 0 & address 1), store them in, lets say, eeprom0 and eeprom1. The...

Re: PC to PIC communication: Part 2

Thanks medelec35  The idea of this article came from what my school uses as devboard + VB. (An ADuC832 with LCD, LEDs and switches and RS232 connection). I just took that idea and made it for PIC. It was also something I wanted to try, PIC to PC communication through USB, as USB is now used...

When getting the demo version at: http:// www . multiupload . com / K6NQN5K3W0, pay attention:

Do not click the big green DOWNLOAD knob, YOU GET A VIRUS,

but click on the smaller blue Direct download knob

Moreover, the demo time was just 2 minutes! To short to test anything.

Hello,

I am currently working on a PID article that should be available shortly. In the mean time the algorithm for PID is as follows.

P * (Error – Prev_Error + (Error / I) + D * (Error – (2 * Prev_Error) + Prev_Prev_Error))

Re: How to use internal osilator

I do not have Flowcode v4 for AVR so I don't know how you would change that, but I do know that you'll need to change the fusebits to enable the internal oscillator.

Fusebits calculator : http://www.engbedded.com/fusecalc/
