Re: A/D resolution for 16LF1788

Hi and welcome to forums!
Could you attach your Flowchart so it would be easier to evaluate the problem?

EDIT: Took a look and yes, there looks to be a bug that the 12bit adc is showing to be 10bit only.

Re: A/D resolution for 16LF1788

Hello, Thanks for letting us know. I have fixed the definition files here so that they correctly show 12-bit ADC rather than 10. PIC16F178x.zip As for the hardware working it should now be ok but as with any newly added device there could be unforeseen problems lurking so let us know how you get on.

Re: Component gLCD_SSD1306_i2c1

Hi Giuseppe, Thanks for letting us know. It appears to be an issue on all graphical LCDs. Maybe the bitmap drawing routine has changed for 7.3. I'll see if I can work out why this has happened. Anyway this updated GLCD_Base component will fix the simulation problem for the bitmap mode, simply copy t...

Build Your Own ILI9163 gLCD SPI Component

Hi Everyone Here is a component project to enable you to build your own gLCD display component using the SPI port. You are able to insert your own command codes and configure the LCD control logic to suit your own needs. I have included a tutorial (Draft) to help with your component build. Please he...

Re: RGB Led.

Many thanks for letting us know.

I have now found and fixed the problem in the attached component file.

Simply copy to your "Flowcode 7/components" folder and restart Flowcode to load the changes.

Re: RGB Led.

Wow that's a quick reply :)

Included is a running screenshot of the simulation and also the program.
The color of the LED does not change (in neither of the programs).
First is from WIKI
V2 is modified : not using the IRQ from T0

Thanks.

Re: BME280!

Hello Giuseppe, I was not online during the last 3 months. Maybe I will have some time during the following weeks to look at some project with microcontrollers. I have tested 4-5 different types of OLEDs, I2C and SPI. The SH1106 component was made by Ben (nice guy) after I sent him one display and w...

Re: GLCD NOT WORK

Hello, Here is a new version of the component you can try. I've made a couple of minor changes that should hopefully allow things to work correctly. This display driver seems to have two layers, one for text and one for graphics or maybe two for double buffering tricks and so maybe one of the layers...

Right here is another version of the component to try,

I've improved the clear function to hopefully clear all the variations of RAM memory on the display.

Re: GLCD NOT WORK

Hello eveyone! Yesterday, i tried the last project Benj submitted and my result is different. The screen just clears out, nothing seems to be responding. When i tried to compile a little bit of code to try the arduino to flick the led, the led responds properly. Disconnecting some digital pins make ...

Re: GLCD NOT WORK

"In the flowchart if I disable all gLCD macros and I use only the LED blinking at 1 sec it works.
If I enable all macros and try to initialize and print then the LED blinks about once every 12 sec!"

Sorry I missed that.

Re: GLCD NOT WORK

Hello I recommend that you review the position of the jumper on the product you are using. LCD product; Can you share your brand's datasheet? I experienced a similar problem while using Winstar RAIO RA8835 LCD. For the 6800 and 8080 there was a selection jumper. Another issue seems to be that the LC...

Could the power supply or LDO not supply enough current? Software should also add delay after gLCDintial operation (ex: 100ms) You should check PortC1 connection and internal oscillator settings. I can help you with the entire system, if you can brace the circuit diagram. and What is LCD brand? (is ...

Re: GLCD NOT WORK

Hi Thanks for information. I think the difference between your t6963C and the communication speed of the microcontroller. I watched the video, I saw you work on a breadboard instead of a PCB. In addition, can you test the functions in the following software? If not, will you try using an external os...

Re: OLED Color SSD1331 display.

If you want a guarantee that it will work then you can send a display module to u...

Can you give me the type and supplier of the display.
Maybe I use it once and could help you a bit with the configuration and the SPI interface.

Re: OLED Color SSD1331 display.

Hello,

The MISO in the display is connected to PORTC.4 in the PIC which is SDA.

The display SDA pin needs to be connected to C5 not C4. Hopefully this is all that is required. C4 should be unconnected.

Re: PIC16F18426 support on FC7.

Hi Giuseppe,

Sorry we fix bugs on older versions that are still in support but don't add new features.

It's likely not just a case of adding the new device definition, it's adding the CAL support too so that things like ADC etc work correctly.

Re: I2C versus SDI Diplays.

I2C graphic display require ram to store screen contents. When displaying new information you are adding pixels to whatever is on screen. The controller needs to know what is already on screen to add the pixels. The amount of ram required depends on the number of pixels on the display.
