Script Syntax Error. 16F1509 running 4 Chan PWM.
Got to a point programming this project where it refused to work. so, scrapped it and started again with the same result, then this popped up on the screen?
Any help gratefully received.

Re: Cannot Disable an Enabled “Interrupt on pin change”

Hi Benj Thanks for the input. Yes, the change must be immediate! Best if I explain the function of this program. This is a small part of a 10 up rocket launcher, ( EDIT. To clarify, this is an amateur rocket launching box for my sons hobby ) :) On power up the power LED and a sounder operate at say ...

Cannot Disable an Enabled “Interrupt on pin change”

Hi Guys Have programmed a MAIN loop which flashes a LED at 500ms intervals and a MACRO second loop that flashes the same LED at 100ms The MAIN loop has a switch connected to a Interrupt on change pin (12F629 pin A0) At power up the MAIN 500ms loop runs as it should, When the switch is operated the p...

Re: Cannot get 16F1507 working with Flowcode 8 and PicKit 3.

Hi BenJ Apologies for late response. Decided to have a good look at all settings and connections on the programming board and found to my shame that the ZIF socket carrying the chip was in the wrong place. Qmaser you were on the right track when you queried the USB\ICSP jumper position. I will now g...

Hi Qmesar
Thanks for your prompt reply.
Yes the "Programming Source jumper is in the ICSP position, Voltage jumper set to 5V, Voltage source jumper set to PSU,
Any other ideas appreciated.

Cannot get 16F1507 working with Flowcode 8 and PicKit 3.

Hi folks, Trying to get a simple program on to a 16F1507 chip using Flowcode 8. Using an EB-006-00-9 board and a PICKit 3. When compiling to the chip, I receive the following error: Target voltage detected Target Device ID (0x0) is an Invalid Device ID. Please check your connections to the Target De...

Re: mLoader error, Unknown chip type in data file ?

Hi Medelec thanks for your prompt help It’s ironic that you sent me back to that first “Forum entry” in 2017 where I made the same mistake. In my defence, I had assumed that in the intervening two years the mLoader file that accompanies Flowcode had been expanded, which seemed to be the case when vi...

mLoader error, Unknown chip type in data file ?

Just purchased and installed FC8.
Built the simple flasher test program using the 16F1507 chip.
Checked that it was supported in mLoader.
All OK apart from the last hurdle when the attached popped up

Appreciate any help please.

Random numbers same each time. Seed?

Hi, I'm trying to generate a random number on a button press. 1 - 10. In FC7, I'm just using a C snippet containing "Ran1 = random () % 10 + 1" This works fine in software, but the moment I burn it to the chip (using a "12F1840"). I get the same sequence of random numbers every time. I'm asuming thi...

Re: PIC 12F1572 Compiling problem “Unknown chip type in data

Hi Ben thanks for your input. I think I am about to embark on a new learning curve! I had assumed (Wrongly) that the list of chips printed in the FlowCode 7 data sheet pdf, Page 18, under “8bit devices” from the matrix web site could all be programed using “FC7”,plus “mLoader” and using your “EB006v...

Re: PIC 12F1572 Compiling problem “Unknown chip type in data

Hi Martin Thanks for helping and sorry for the delay in getting back to you but other commitments get in the way. I did not realise that although FC7 can produce the program, EB006v9 + m-Loader could not support it. The question now is what to do next? Do I need a new “mLoader” file to be downloaded...

Re: 16F1507 problem with PWM channel 4 in V7

Thanks guys, I have taken your observations on board; will now go and hopefully sort the problem out. I think benj’s comment to make a separate SIMPLE PWM test program and work on that first is always an excellent idea. I will keep you posted, but it may be a day or two as I have other commitments. ...

Re: 16F1507 problem with PWM channel 4 in V7

Hi Peter Thanks for responding It may help if I explain the program. The program takes a 4 bit input from a radio connected 15 button remote. Each number 1 to 16 places a pre programed 4 channel lighting set up (including a fade speed) Into the PIC Chip 16F1507 the program then either lowers or lift...

16F1507 problem with PWM channel 4 in V7

I have constructed a 4 channel PWM colour changing program in V7 My understanding is that the 16F1507 has 4 identical 10 bit PWM channels but in my program channels 1,2, and 3 are fine and work in10 bit but the fourth channel appears to work only in 8 bit. Am I missing something, any help most appre...

Re: Expert configuration and 16F630

Attn. Steve, Matrix Multimedia. Hi Steve, As I have not heard from you regarding the dead pins, RA0, RA1 on the 16F630, I suspect that FlowCode default may have programmed them as one of the eight possible comparator modes, 000 to 111 instead of I/O pins. Question: If these pins are programmed by Fl...

Hi Steve, Just seen your reply to my query.
