Freelance Programmers for Component Macro wanted
I am at the start of a project and still need to design the hardware. The board I am working needs to read a wheatstone bridge and translate this to 0-10V and or 4-20mA output I need someone who can write a component macro for the DAC8760 and MAX11270. The DAC8760 will have priority Please feel free...

Programmers wanted URGENT
My name is Jeroen and am the owner of Holtha OFS. I use Flowcode V6 for basic products, but I now got a project in where I am looking for a programmer. This project involves the ECIO40P16 from Matrix, a DAC8760 and a MAX11270. Please contact me me through PM with your details and rates, and experien...

Re: Float calculation stays 0.00000
Thanks Benj. That did it. I use the ECIO40P for small projects I do. The test bench project I am working on at the moment is using the ECIO40P to control a SEW VFD Drive through CAN. If this will turn out to be a reliable success, i will use that for the smaller VFD projects I have and hopefully kee...

Float calculation stays 0.00000
"Hello" I receive a String, which I use to calculate Degrees which I then send forward on RS232, but the result is always 0.00000 Degrees = stringtofloat$ (Pulses_String) * (360 / 7685) Degrees_Calculated = floattostring$ (Degrees) Pulses_String (String) Degrees (Float) Degrees_Calculated (String) D...

Re: Rotary Encoder Missing Steps on fast or slow RPM
Thanks Medelec,
I noticed that my interrupt on Z_Wire caused the missing counts.
I stayed with the Int on A-Wire.
Thank you

Re: Rotary Encoder Missing Steps on fast or slow RPM
Hi Martin, Thank you for your reply. I started from scratch again, and tried to keep it simple. I do not really need RPM, I need to measure the distance a chain has traveled that is connected to the motor. The motor runs between 15 and 3000 RPM. I tried to keep it simple by using A-Channel on INT0 a...

Rotary Encoder Missing Steps on fast or slow RPM
Hey Guys, I need to read an 256 step encoder. I've been reading the forum as I was having problems with steps missing on slow turns of the encoder. The forum said that the checkforchange should be checked more often. So I did, and now the opposite happens. It is missing steps on higher RPM's. The so...

Hi Guys, I want to capture 232 serial data, modify the data if needed and forward this to another serial port in the PIC. (USB Serial for now) But when i Recieve_String on RS232 and then USB_Send_String I am seeing weird things on PuTTy Serial Monitor I'm seeing double NMEA types but with different ...

Re: ECIO not Found!
I have tried to install the driver that I downloaded from matrix through windows device management and windows says that the HASH file is corrupt.
Anybody got another (older) driver for the ECIO's?
FYI I'm using Windows 8.1

Hi guys, Just recieved 4 new ECIO40P's from farnell today. I have used ECIO40's before on other projects and had no problems with them. How ever, today I wanted to program the first ECIO40 that came out of the box and this showed up: Building CASM file Memory Usage Report =================== RAM ava...

EB063 & Alpha-TRX voltage in datasheet
Hi Guys,
The EB063 data sheet mentions that a voltage level shifter is used.
But the data sheet of the Alpha-TRX*** says the module can be used between 2-5 Volt.
Is the data sheet for the EB063 outdated or did I miss something in the Alpha-TRX datasheet?

Re: EB063 Searching for 433MHz wall switch
I found info on the back of the switch about the excact frequency of the switch. 433.92Mhz
I changed the program a little.
I am now searching for signal strength on all bandwidth between 170 & 175 in Update_Center Frequency
But still nothing.
What am i doing wrong?

ECIO40 & GPS-Click & EB076 Problem
Good Morning guys, Yesterday I wiped the dust of my winter hobby. Not that i think that summer is finished, but I felt like playing with it. I am getting stuck with I think getting data from the serial connection from the GPS. The program does not go passed the first loop. The state of GPS_Data_Vali...

Found it Re: Error: missing right paren
And while I do 1 more check on the calculation, I found the problem.
I by accident typed a (Space) in the Pi number.
Float = fmul(Float, 3. 1415926)
Problem solved.
Sorry for wasting space on the server
