Coretex M3 Support
From: Tony Perry Hi Ben, I have a question, & I didn't know who to address it to:- Is there any intention to support any products using the Cortex M3 core with Flowcode at all? As far as I can see, the various lists for the various devices all support alternate ARM cores. Regards Tony Perry

Re: MX009 - PID Control
from: Tony Perry Hi Ben, I have been asked to provide a lecture, relating to PID control, using flowcode. I have looked at the Matrix site, & note that you have written a PID document in the past. I have been asked to include some PID maths in the lecture if possible. I have a couple of questions:- ...

Re: MIAC USB Stopped Recognising
From: Tony Perry Hi David, after many hours of continual effort, I managed to get the Matrix drivers back into the Vista machine, & working correctly. To be honest, I don't want to play around with it anymore, as it is now working. Peter Smart was correct with his earlier comments, but I would like ...

Re: MIAC USB Stopped Recognising
From: Tony Perry Subject: VISTA Machine Problem Hi David, this email goes back to a reported problem on 28th December 2011. I have found out a little bit more about the problem. I was using an EB006 board quite successfully with an HP299 flowcode kit. I then installed the MIAC software. After that, ...

Re: MIAC USB Stopped Recognising
Hi David, I have been unable to fix the problem. I think Pete maybe right. It wasn't until I installed the EB066 drivers onto the same USB port that I saw this problem. As I am just about to buy a new Windows 7 machine, I am not going to spend any more time on this problem. If the problem continues ...

MIAC USB Stopped Recognising
27th December 2011 From: tony Perry Hi, i have been using the MIAC for some while. Suddenly the system has stopped recognising the USB drivers. I have removed & re-installed the drivers with no effect. I have downloaded the x86 drivers (32 bit machine) from the website, still with no effect. I just ...

Re: EB066 board
Hi john,
the problem I have, is that I have to give a 'live demo', out in the middle of a field, where the signal strength is weak. That's why I really need to understand the power output of this card, with & without the high gain antenna.

EB066 board
Hi, I note in the EB066 datasheet, the following remark is present:- The onboard antenna is fairly low gain and is provided to allow simple GSM communications in strong signal areas. For weaker signal areas it is advisable to remove the GSM module from the E-block, disconnect the onboard antenna fro...

USB Link Failure
From: Tony Perry Hi Benj, I am using the EB006 with the HP299. It works well. I do have one small problem. My PC indicates that it sometimes doesn't recognise the hardware, even half way through a simulation. Simply unplugging the USA & plugging it in again mostly fixes the problem. Have you seen th...

Compiler Errors
from: A Perry Hi Benj, we have just started a new design using the MIAC product. To get started, we tried to compile & run a number of the 'sample' programmes provided. Each provides copious amounts of unresolved external function errors. I guess we have the initial setup wrong somehow. Any idea's? ...

Hi Benj,
another quick question:-
Do Matrix have access to any write-up's or articles, concerning the use of multiple Zigbee coordinator boards used in close proximity?

From: Tony Perry Hi ben, still a bit confused. sorry. The only parts I can find on the digi website do not match up entirely with the part number you gave me. Re: Zigbee Design
From: Tony Perry Hi Benj, I have another question about a Zigbee design. Based on the fact that peer to peer & 'sleep' experiments seem to have been developed for the Zigbee 'bundle', can I make the assumption that the design used by Matrix Multimedia is in fact a Digimesh product? Is that correct? ...

Zigbee Design
I have a question about a zigbee design. I realise the firmware for the coordinator & end modules is inside the Zigbee module itself, & I have already been directly to the XBEE site for the public domain stuff, but I wanted to make sure that the firware I use is completely compatible with the Flowco...
