Arduino MEGA 2560 Cannot Compile to Chip

that's getting me insane :-( Here's my Story: I had FC 8 and FC 9 working fine. Some Mega 2560 projects compiled to chip without any problem. Then i tried a small project for an Arduino Leonardo (only Blinking an LED) Nothing worx. Compiler shows errors. I updated the arduino ide to latest version 1...

Re: compiling FC4 code in FC5 don´t run on the target

Hi Stefan, you asked me if i ever received an answer or help for my problem. No :( Since last year i tried nearly everything to get the things work. No success. I transcribed the code completly in FC5 without any result. So i gave up the job and wrote it in FC4 because the customer wants to use his ...

Re: compiling FC4 code in FC5 don´t run on the target

Hi Ben first Test results are comming up: In the receiver routine i put a small test (print some text to LCD display to see if the receiver is working) Then i compiled the code for the receiver and the sender to exclude communication problems between FC4 coded sender units and FC5 coded receiver uni...

Re: compiling FC4 code in FC5 don´t run on the target

Hello, The RF macros for v5 were greatly improved to include a valid CRC check and to pull all the data through the same pipeline making the mechanism a lot more stable. It may be that a v4 system and a new v5 RF system will no longer play nice together but I'm not sure on this. Let me know how you...

Re: compiling FC4 code in FC5 don´t run on the target

Hello, Please can you post the fcf files in this thread? Also were there any compiler warnings in the Flowcode v5 compilation? Was there any customised c code in the program or the component? (any customised component code will NOT work in v5). Had you received any customised code for the RF compon...

compiling FC4 code in FC5 don´t run on the target

Dear Matrix staff, because no one gives me a hint with my problem when i change from FC4 to FC5 posted in the FC4 Forum http://www.matrixmultimedia.com/mmforums/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=10703 I will declare it again here in the FC5 Forum. I built a fine running system in FC4 with the following component...

Re: change to FC5 with no luck

Hi Dazz, sorry for my late Answer. My project is NOT a private one so i had to produce a systems that works first and second i play around with FC5. Definitely it is a bug in FC5. I updated to latest Version 5.2.0.0 annd controled the config section of the code. Changed absolute nothing in the sourc...

Re: change to FC5 with no luck

Hi Jonny. The facts are: If i compile the Flowchart to HEX with FC4 and program it to the PIC 16F887 every thing works fine. The Chip runs and the software is doing what i want. But if i compile the same Flowchart in FC5 to HEX program it to the PIC nothing works. The Display is not initialised and ...

Re: Help needed for a RF Sender Receiver System

Please dear fellows help me!
After some Tests i´m sure that the "strange phenomena" is not noise from other RF Components.
It is a bug in my code.
But where is the bug :?:
The routines are quite simple but i have no idea where to modify.

Re: Help needed for a RF Sender Receiver System

Hi Ben, ok nice to hear that my small project is not ready for trash :) Flowcode is great :D But... You say i should try to use the packet routines. Is it possible that in spite of sync pattern noise or dirt from other RF Systems is the reason? I´m not sure that there is a strange source having the ...

Help needed for a RF Sender Receiver System

Dear Forum and dear guys from Matrix Staff. Following situation is givven. I build a Sender / Receiver System based on the RF Modules EB063. 8 Sender Units including 4 Buttons placed in a laboratory to call 1 of 4 technicians. The location of a specific sender is hard coded. The Code which is sent i...

Re: Using two EB063 RF Modules in one programm

Dear Ben thx for your great idea. It works without any problems. :D The attached schematic shows a receiversystem which comunicates with sender units. The sender units have a pic 16F88 aTRX module from RF Solutions like you use on the RF Boards and 4 buttons. Everytime a button is pressed, the recei...

Re: RF component not working

Alright, first you should have a look a the EBlock section of the forum and the discussion between me and Ben from Matrix. Search for EB063. He gave me a cool tip to circumnavigate the level shifters. Only some resistors are necessary. I work with MAX3002 like used on the original EB063RF Board. Har...

Re: RF component not working

ok the TRX Modules Revisions may be ok and i had never found bad ones. Are you sure everything is ok with your pcb layout? Be carefull because the TRX modules use 3,3V and not 5V. Have you done a look on my schematic? Try to write a simple Testroutine like: Sender: Send one pulse every second in a n...

Re: RF component not working

I think i have found your problems. Init the modules first in your programm. You had a mistake in the "External Properties" of the RF Modules. All Properties have to be identical otherwise it will not work. You had differences in Bandwidth and frequency deviation. In the first USB_RF_18F4550 file yo...

Re: RF component not working

Now i fighting against an LCD 16x2 Caractermodule but this another never ending story  Testing the Modules i constructed based on the schematic is very simple. I use the Multiprogrammer. See the attached Flowcode and have a look to the implemeted EBlocks. They work :) By the way, what kind of m...

Don´t give up Stefan last evening i damaged my chair because nothing works like i planed. But i don´t give up  Take a look at the attached schematic and the flowcode. Both together works. I had built 10 of them. The usage is in a calling environment to call one of 4 persons. The receiver is no...

Re: RF component not working

Hi Stefen, ok i will declare what i mean with crosswiring. If you don´t use the EBlocks and the programmer, i fingered out that you have to cross sdi and sdo. For example : You have defined in Flowcode SDO to B0 and SDI to B7. Than you have to physically connect them "crossed" . Physical line SDI to...

Re: RF component not working

I will hope it helps. First strike is that you don´t care about the results of the init macro. Do the following: Init RF wait 100ms and go on with your program. Next strike is: Done some more testing, changed the pins on both TX and RX MCUs FSEL B1 CS B0 SDO B5 SDI B4 SCK B3 This is the definition i...

Re: Using two EB063 RF Modules in one programm

Cool idea  I will test it tomorrow. MAX3002 is very hard to handle in a single sided board. But if you have eyes like an eagle and a good smd solder iron it works. This is a part of the problems i got with the TRX Modules from RF. TRX use 3.3V The separated Modules TX and RX use 5V. No one kno...

Re: Using two EB063 RF Modules in one programm

Hi Ben,
sorry for my late answer.
I´m fighting against great problems in constructing a special pcb board using pics, RF-Solutions Modules like Matrix uses on the EB063 MAX 3002 Level Shifter and other silicone.
So please be patient, i will test it and post the results.
