Thanks Martin, I'll check this out. I am sure I will eventually get this working properly.

Re: Simple routine for a rotary encoder

Hi there To follow up, I have got this working on a breadboard using Fotios' structure as a basis. I used different ports and chip though and a smaller number of outputs. I now want to try different numbers of clicks to change outputs. I am still having problems using the Flowcode rotary encoder com...

Re: Simple routine for a rotary encoder

Thanks a lot Fotios and Leigh for your pointers and advice. I shall follow your suggestions and see how this pans out. I really appreciate your help.
I shall let you know once I have this working satisfactorily.

Simple routine for a rotary encoder

Hi I am trying to experiment with switching a few (say 3 or 4) outputs or LEDs sequentially using a rotary encoder, and although this seems simple, I have not been able to get this to function properly. It may be that the encoder I am using is no good, coupled more likely with my not understanding e...

Re: Cannot run V6

Hi Jonny Sorry I was not able to come back sooner. I have redone this using CTRL F9 (all threads) and I attach this report. It again looks like all zeros. There were 5 window titles/processes listed in the top window of the utility (eg Properties, System Panel, Dashboard Panel, Chip and Flowcode. I ...

Re: Cannot run V6

Hi Jonny
I have run the WhatIsHang utility and I attach the result I obtained. I hope this can help and, if so, perhaps you can tell me what the next step would be.

Re: Cannot run V6

Hi Jonny I can't open an empty test program either. As Acestu suggested (thanks for the info!), I have downloaded the patch(es)but this makes no difference. I shall get on to using the utilities you suggested this afternoon and, as soon as I have something to report, I shall revert back to you. Chee...

Cannot run V6

I am using XP (service pack 3) and have recently downloaded the beta version of FC6 to try out. If I try and load an FC5 file(fcf), or an existing project, or try to start a new test program (eg "flash an LED"), or load an FC6 (fcfx) file, Flowcode 6 simply freezes up and won't respond to any mouse ...

Re: Hi-Fi audio preamplifier using Burr-Brown PGA2310

My Preamplifier Interface PIC 16887h.fcf Greetings Fotios and colleagues I have been trying, as a first project, to do a scaled down version of Fotios’ design. I am very grateful to Fotios for kindly sharing his knowledge. This is intended to be more of a preamplifier interface without active gain ...

Re: Hi-Fi audio preamplifier using Burr-Brown PGA2310

Hi Fotios Really excellent work on your design. Congratulations on the depth of the functionality and sophistication you have designed into this project. I want to do something a lot simpler with remote control and not using the BB/TI volume control chip and I will contact you soon regarding some is...
