Re: Replicating an existing v4 flowchart in v7

Hi Benj, I was laying out the screen as you suggested and I found the 'figures' for the PWM under properties which is what I was puzzled about! Many thanks! I would still like to know of the appropriate way to transfer my existing v4 flowcharts to v7 and whether they need any further alteration in v...

Re: Replicating an existing v4 flowchart in v7

Hi Benj, Brilliant! Thankyou so much! So am I right in thinking that I CAN load my fully working and existing v4 projects into v7 directly (as this one has proved it would eliminate the very long processing to chip times)? I tried to do that yesterday but it didn't seem to work for me - is there a p...

Replicating an existing v4 flowchart in v7

Hi fellars, I have recently jumped from v4 to v7 and I just cannot get to grips with v7 at all but I think must actually be easier to use though I am struggling!! I simply want to produce exactly the same v4 working flowchart in v7 but I cannot understand the changes that have been made, in particul...

Re: 3D Printer Simulation

Hi Martin, I see - I had just assumed that by combining the G code files with the 3D printer as Ben had suggested, I would simply get the operation building up on the 3D panel so that it would be possible to step through the flowchart and get a feel for going about it. I have no idea at the moment r...

Re: 3D Printer Simulation

Hi Martin, I have the same version as you but you are right, I haven't purchased Misc Pack A - I didn't know I needed an item from another pack to run the the 3D printer simulation from the Mechatronics pack - which I had purchased specificaly to eventually operate my CNC machine. Do I need it if I ...

Re: 3D Printer Simulation

Hi Martin,
Nothing to show at the moment cos I don't seem to be doing the right thing regarding the two items in one folder. I downloaded the two files and within the download directory I created a new folder and copied the two files to it but I guess that isn't correct?

3D Printer Simulation

Hi Benj, Have moved my query from 'Bugs' to here cos it was not related to v7 bugs as was the first part concerning Login problem. This will make more sense to forum followers now but I really could do with a bit of info here as soon as possible as I am obviously not doing the right thing. Sorry but...

Re: Correct login for HELP not accepted

Hi,
Moving my last query regarding the 3D simulation to a more logical title under Board Index: 8-Bit PIC, '3D Printer Simulation'

Cheers,

Re: Correct login for HELP not accepted

Hi Benj, Sorry but I'm not exactly sure how that works or what to expect. I an not really computer literate in some ares and I dont seem to be getting the right results. I have tried downloading from the two links seperately and then putting into one folder but how is that related to the project win...

Re: Correct login for HELP not accepted

'Flowcode not respondin'g is still happening and I can't seem to pin down why. I have no problem getting into an existing project or starting a new one - this is happening when I am IN the program/project. ALSO, being new to V7, I have no idea how to get the simulation for the 3D printer working - I...

Re: Correct login for HELP not accepted

Hi David, I was just clicking on 'Help' on the Flowchart top line and it was going straight to what must have been the Wiki Editors login which wxplains why it said there was no record of the login I used (my normal one for the forum and then I tried my account one). HOWEVER, I fired up the computer...

Correct login for HELP not accepted

Hi, After repeated attempts to log in on HELP, it says no record of user name and wont accept password. However, it has always worked and I am logged in with both on this forum. I have a Flowcode account and I did try it with the name and password but it didn't work either. Can you advise please. Al...

Re: Queries about possibly moving from Flowcode v4 to v7

Very many thanks QMESAR and Benj, I am going for the chip pack but 3 component packs now (adding the I/O component pack, so 70 plus 15 plus VAT at Total of 102 pounds) and I will see how I get on with my HP488 programmer via mLoader for now. This is a good deal and big upgrade for me so thanks for t...

Re: Queries about possibly moving from Flowcode v4 to v7

HI Ben, Thankyou for your reply, I am a bit confused with the pricing: 2) So if I were to purchase the 3 packs you mention at £70 AND Standard FLowcode V7 at your offer price of £30, I would then have access to the full range of 8bit chips? 3) Where can I find what chips mLoader covers as I am not h...

Queries about possibly moving from Flowcode v4 to v7

Hi all, I am contemplating the possibility of a big jump from v4 to v7 in the light of the 50 % off that is currently being offered until 9:30am on Wednesday 19th April 2017. I had already mentioned in the v4 forum to Ben that, much as I would like to, I couldn't afford the suggestion to move to v7 ...

Re: Wits End Now

Hi all, I REALLY APPRECIATE you fellows taking 'time out' and making suggestions towards solving this problem but I have tried those suggestions a number of times and even uninstalled my antivirus on several occasions. HOWEVER, I haven't tried them on THIS set up on the basis that it didn't cure the...

Hi all, Only just able to follow up from yesterday: Hi EtsDriver and Benj, good idea but I disabled compression AND indexing right from the start and just checked and they ARE disabled. Re: Wits End Now

HI guys, Here are the 3 files for information. The first is just to show where I took the source from and the other two are my very FIRST attempt on this brand new computer set up to compile and I think it looks OK but in any case it still took about 13 minutes to do. Hi Ben, Thanks for responding t...
