Yes I have purged all the com ports that were not being used as it was up to 10, it is now Com3.

Hi Ben, Yes that's what I thought, In my attempts to get the Ds18b20 working I am trying anything and everything really, my Uno's are not genuine but my Yun is so I thought I would try that, if I open Arduino IDE and select Yun on Com port 6 then it uploads no problem, if I then close the Arduino ID...
