Re: PIC16F690 - NRF24L04

Hi dazz, Thanks for your answer. There is no way that we can spend € 231.- for a new version of FlowCode. We don’t have the money for it, this is Holland and this is reality. Holland is shipping all his money to Greece and other countries. This new article (posted today at 12-02-2013) makes me so an...

Re: PIC16F690 - NRF24L04

Please, can someone give me a simple working fcf file? I try to understand SPI commands but I have doubts that my hardware is maybe not good. I need a simple working file so that I can look to my hardware if there are some problems. Just push the switch on side A and turn on the LED on side B. If so...

Re: PIC16F690 - NRF24L04

Hi Ben, Thanks for your answer, I really appreciate it. I don’t have much free time to find out the use of SPI commands. This is my life, after my normal job I do some free job. :-) I will try to learn the SPI commands and search this forum for solutions. Maybe I can solve my question. In hardware I...

PIC16F690 - NRF24L04

Hello, I hope someone can help me. I have two PIC16F690 and two RX-TX Nordic NRF24L01 with pcb board. (common on eBay) I was yesterday evening almost all the evening searching on internet and this forum on how to connect this modules together and let communicate. I can’t find anything….. :-( Some pe...

Re: ENC28J60 Any plans ??

Does this means that I can not make any use of the ENC28J60 in FlowCode ? If so, then please tell me what Ethernet Module is supported in FlowCode. I was looking to this module: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ENC28J60-Ethernet-Controller-Board-Project-LAN-Network-Module-3-3V-for-MCU-AVR-/370721108611?pt=LH...

Re: Read switch 1 to 8 arbitrary

Hi Enamul, (or others) I want to ask you one more question, and that is more a technical question. In all my flash patterns I make use of the Component Macro to flash a led (On / Off). I see that you do this on a other way. This way for flashing the LED’s is new to me, but I understand now how it wo...

Re: Read switch 1 to 8 arbitrary

Hi Enamul, This is a very nice one. Thank you ! There is one thing I don't understand. In the Calculation you set a Variable with some binary code. Please explain to me how why you do this? This is for me unclear. Thanks and greetings, Jan EDIT: I can see it has something to do with driving the LEDs...

Re: Read switch 1 to 8 arbitrary

Hi Enamul, Thanks for helping me. I'm trying to understand your program but I have (off course) some questions on how to modify it. As you know, I have 8 macro's with flash patterns and 8 switches. In your program I can't see how you light the LED's when I push a switch. I think this has someting to...

Read switch 1 to 8 arbitrary

I’m trying to make a simple program that has to change the LED flash pattern when a switch is pressed. I have: PIC16F690 8 switches (mandatory) 8 Macro LED flash patterns with loops (working) The goal is when you push switch 2, the program has to start pattern 2 and stay there until for example swit...

Re: PIC16F690 Settings

What about contrast control. I can't see that on your circuit diagram. Normally each end of a pot is connected to +5V and 0V. Center connection is connected to the bias. Hi Martin, It works now. It was indeed a hardware issue, I didn´t connect pin3 (contrast pin) to Vss via a 1K resistor. I wil buy...

Re: PIC16F690 Settings

I have chanced the Master Clear Enable to Internal and have still the same problem. LED is flashing but no text on the display. I think it is now a hardware problem, I follow this picture: http://www.google.com/imgres?num=10&hl=nl&tbo=d&biw=1704&bih=955&tbm=isch&tbnid=V_QxWQlBI0ZNqM:&imgrefurl=http:...

Re: PIC16F690 Settings

What frequency would you like internal oscillator? 4 or 8MHz? Also have you got anything connected to pin4 like a pull-up resistor and swich, or using it as an i/p or nothing connected? Martin Hi Martin, In FlowCode the cofiguration is set to 4000000 hz. There is nothing connected to pin4, should i...

Hi Martin, The LED is flasing now as it should be. But still no text on the LCD 16x2. In sumilation it works perfectly. We use on my job now version 5 of flowcode. PIC16F690 Settings

Please can someone tell me what are the correct settings for a PIC16F690? I made a program that works very well in simulation in FlowCode and Proteus. But not in hardware . This is a simple program to test: it flashes a LED and write some text on a LCD 16x2. Nothing else more. I use no crystal. I ge...

Re: PWM LED question

Hi, Have you checked your configuration option as I don't find any reason of showing unwanted behaviour in GPIO<4>. In Ben's program, he is using external clock which I think you are not using. In your case, oscillator should be "Internal RC No Clockout". And clock speed should be 4 MHz. Thanks Ena...

Re: PWM LED question

This PWM_LED_12F629.fcf works perfectly for me and is just what I’m looking for but I have a small problem with it. I disabled the flash macro and added three more led outputs. LED0 on port A0 (GP0) as in this .fcf LED1 on port A5 (GP5/OSC1) LED2 on port A2 (GP2/INT) LED3 on port A4 (GP4/OSC2) The p...

Hi Martin,

Thanks for posting this fcf. I will test it later this day, I have to go my job now.

I would really appreciate if you want to post this also. I like to see the difference and learn from this.

If so I will post a flowchart that just deals with dimming 1 LED only, and take you though it step by step. Martin Martin, (or someone else) I have almost the same question. I have a 12f629 with a simple LED flash pattern, On and Off. (one LED) Now I want to fade / dimming the same led in a new pat...
