Re: Generic I2C Component

I have realised I didn't explain some of the picture... In the picture those command entries with an enable tick box next to them are drop down selection boxes that have the various commands like Start, Restart, Stop etc in each so that the user doesn't have to work out what they can use it's in fro...

Re: Generic I2C Component

Hi Benj Thanks for the link, it just shows that almost everything is there, if you know where to look.... :-) I did have a look at the I2C master component before and didn't get very far, the link could make all the difference. And having looked around for examples / help I only found stuff that was...

Generic I2C Component

I understand that component creation is possible through a step by step walk through of a tutorial or video but having wanted to control various I2C chips I found it very confusing and not easy! I have yet to be able to create one to control a MCP23008 or a MCP3221. How about..... An I2C component t...

Re: PIC24FJ128GC006 RF7 unuseable

Hi Benj I have used the new chip definition file in FC7. On the PIC24FJ128GC006 I used port F7 to flash a led, I programmed the chip from FC7 and the code works fine with that port pin thank you. I'm trying to get to know the chip and the board it's on so that I can reprogram it to do some of the th...

Re: PIC24FJ128GC006 RF7 unuseable

Hi Thanks for that I'll give it a go later today. I understand what you say about the datasheet but I can't explain why it's not correct. I have a board populated with a PIC24FJ128GC006 and a gLCD with a Red, Green & Blue LED backlights, one of which is connected to pin 34 (VBUS) and using that as F...

PIC24FJ128GC006 RF7 unuseable

Hi

Benj previously posted the necessary files so we can use the PIC24FJ128GC006 with FC7.

However using them I am unable to use pin 7 of port F (VBUS & RF7) as a digital port pin .

Re: LCD with ST7565R1 paralel cintrooler (ERC12832-1)

Hi Sorry I know this is an old post but there doesn't seem to be a solution posted here for this and I am having the same problems. Details of the issue I have were posted here https://www.matrixtsl.com/mmforums/viewtopic.php?f=69&t=18907#p84251 but I didn't get a reply so I thought I'd try asking h...

Re: 24FJ128GC006 Support

Hi Sorry it's been so long but I was taken to work on other things so until recently I didn't get to try using your files. So I have now had some time to test the PIC24FJ128GC006 files you posted and I have been able to connect to the board and load a program onto the PIC. Unfortunately the only boa...

Re: ICD 2, ICD 3 & PcKit 3 Parameters for 16Bit chips

Hi Thanks for the reply and pointer, I had found something like that but not with as much info in. With that I can start using that info and test it out. First try... I used the external powerd PicKit 3 compiler option settings for 16 bit pic and then went to create the hex file. At first it complai...

ICD 2, ICD 3 & PcKit 3 Parameters for 16Bit chips

Hi all I need help with the Compiler Options if you'd be so kind. I am trying to set my FC7 to use various settings for chips and hardware because depending on where I am working will dictate what I have access to. So I'd like to set it up in FC7 with a variety of options and test them out before I ...

Hi I am trying to point the compiler options window to all 3 of my Pro versions of the XC compilers. However, I can open the compiler option window and.. I can create a new setting and save it but no matter what setting I select I can't change the compiler location or the parameters. In the compiler...

Re: 24FJ128GC006 Support

Hi Not a lot to report yet, I have put the files where you said to place them and restarted Flowcode, on restarting Flowcode and loading the project Flowcode froze and my PC froze too, after a short time Flowcode closed itself and gave me my PC back. It did exactly the same when I ran flowcode and l...

Thanks again for your help, All the information is there in the links, I just got a bit tied up looking for stuff that wasn't there or was for a previous version or was shouting at me and I just couldn't see it. I can work things out, eventually.. :-) I'll have to load up the font set I have and see...
