Script error on starting flowcode
Hi. Recently, flowcode has started showing a "google tag manager script error" every time flowcode starts. This happens on both computers. If I click ignore, it carries on and seems to work. Is there anything I need to do to make this go away. I have searched google for the problem, but ended up mor...

hp1110 problem
Hi, I've been using fc7 for some time with the eb006 v9. Whilst looking for something else I found four hp1110 project boards that haven't been used. Tried using them with fc7, but would not program, and said something about some device attached. I could get them to program with mloader 4 that comes...

Re: Compiler settings
Hi Martin, Thank you for clearing that up, I haven't used FC7 for some time. Last time I had problems with flowcode the compiler settings had gotten corrupted somehow, and I thought this had maybe happened again. Especially as I had to un-install mplab which uses the same compiler (I think). Much ap...

Compiler settings
Hi, apologies if this has been covered before. I am a registered pro user with several processor groups. I haven't used fc7 for some time, but tonight decided to have a go at something. It was just a simple routine to display a message on an lcd eblock. Upon compiling to hex, I got a message saying ...

Hi, and thanks for the incredibly speedy answer. I take it the fact that my licences are for the fc7 professional do not include the compilers?

Compiler settings
Hi, I recently tried compiling a fc7 file that has compiled before, only for it to throw up a message telling me I was compiling in FREE mode. When I looked in compiler options I noticed the PIC compiler had changed to XC8. The only thing I did recently was update microchips mplab. Could this have a...

Re: help with pic16f1619
Hi Martin, thanks for that. I'm sure Matrix must think we're all made of money or something. Why is it with other companies liked Mikroelktronika they offer FREE lifetime upgrades of their compilers. I'm beginning to wish I had gone down that route to start with. I seem to remember that prior to fc6...

help with pic16f1619
Hi, Is there a way to incorporate the necessary files to enable use of the pic16f1619?
Sometime ago there was an article on how to write your own chip files, but I cant remember where.
Could someone tell me where I can find it please?
Thanks
john

Re: EB-006-00-9 need help
Hi, thanks for all the help. If you had your eb006 connected to a usb port, what would happen if windows couldn't tell if any thing was connected, would it turn off? Also, does the eb006 somehow "keep alive" the usb port/hub? Sorry for all the questions, but just curious about possibilities. Thanks ...

Re: EB-006-00-9 need help
@kersing forgive the intrusion, but I keep getting badgered by the free windows 10 upgrade. Does it dynamically turn off power to usb ports as earlier windows have?, as this used to cause all sorts of problems for usb devices. Also, don't feel too bad, in the late sixties I had just finished buildin...

Re: eb006 reliability?
Hi Ben, many thanks for the re-assurance, and the instructions to re-flash the firmware. I appreciate the heads up on input voltage, although to date I've only used them on a usb port. I'm pleased this issue has been given some closure, as I'm sure you'll agree, it isn't much fun when you spend hour...

Hi, does anyone know of an easy way to save the video tutorials so they can be viewed off-line?
Or better still maybe, convert them to avi format.
Thanks

eb006 reliability?
Perhaps someone from matrix can explain why there seems to be so many problems with this programmer (v9). It would be helpful to many I'm sure to point out what to do, and what not to do. More specifically how to get round actually causing some chip to overheat and destroy itself. I have an earlier ...

Re: two flowcode v6 installed?
Hello Martin,
Thanks for replying. Some other times my program manager has a hiccup and shows multiple installations.
If one was deleted, they all vanished! That turned out to be a corrupted registry section. I did un-install the
earlier version successfully, so thank you for your advice.

two flowcode v6 installed?
Hi, I was looking through my program listing to un-install a file, and I noticed there are two flowcode version 6 installed. One is 6.1.0.0 taking up 964Mb and the second 6.1.2.0 963Mb (wow, my first hard drive was 5Mb) Will it be safe to delete the earlier one, and is there a chance it will impact ...

Re: eb006 and PIC18F46K80
Hi, if I look at a file called ppp_chip_script its almost at the bottom. This file is in prog files(x86)\flowcode 6\tools\mloader. I also found it in another file, but to see it you need to view it in hex. The above file is just a txt file Looking at the datasheet, the only real difference between t...

Re: eb006 and PIC18F46K80
I note what you said about the above chip not being supported by mloader, yet it exists in its chip list!
The only problem I can see is that one of the A ports is vdd core. Also I've seen mention of tying this pin to the relevant
voltage sometimes works.

Re: eb006 and PIC18F46K80
Hi, yes I did notice that it wasn't listed, but sometimes chips get added which is what I hoped. I also have a
pickit 3, but it seems so silly that flowcode 6 supports it, but not the programmer!
You would hope the two would stay in sync.
Thanks anyway

Miac display in fc6
Hi, I am fortunate enough to own two of the cased miacs which I bought some time ago. Due to serious health issues with my wife, I have not been able to spend any time with these. The problem I'm having, if it is even a problem is that when I select mica in fc6 misc column, all it shows is a sixteen...
