Re: SPI Master simultaneous I2C and SPI

Hey Ben, I am working on a project with similar requirements using an ECIO (18F4455)... had a quick look thru the microchip datasheet and it was not obvious that that it had a second MSSP port peripheral capability. Is there any way to spoof this dual functionailty mode using another port other than...

Dear Ben and Team, Its not often that you would receive positive feedback...however i had such a great experience this evening, i could not let the moment pass. I have been playing around with macros this evening, particularly the parameters and local variables feature. I was able to create some qui...

Re: PICmicro Devboard and Flowkit using FC4

Hi Ben, Thanks for the fast response. You were spot on with the clock frequency suggestion  .. It was running way slower than expected. ICD now works on the 18F4455 on the flasher routine, however aborts when the SPI init macro is run. Have not had a good look as to why yet, however it is spec...

Re: PICmicro Devboard and Flowkit using FC4

a little more information...SPI has nothing to do with the problem A simple 2 LED flasher on port A confirmed it still does not work. Have checked that background debug is off and pushed the speed to 20, then 100, still no luck I tried 16f88 and a 18F4455 on the basis that portc c does not connect t...

PICmicro Devboard and Flowkit using FC4

Hi Support team, Can you use the HP299 Flowkit device with the HP488 PICmicro developer board (V3). I think I followed the instructions correctly, however  I get the following responses. HP299 error 1.jpg error2.jpg I have the Flowkit connected to Port C and the Flowkit LED's are flashing slow...

Re: Flowcode 4 / Miac compile error

Thanks for the fast response Ben, much appreciated. I checked the other plane of the menu structure page_H_plane <= 0 and had made a similar mistake with the space < = .. deleted the space from both examples and it compiled with no errors... Interesting point - under simulation from within Flowcode ...

Flowcode 4 / Miac compile error

Hi Support team, I have been playing around with the MIAC device and have attempted to create multi-layer menus for display of application and diagnostic data using Flowcode 4 professional. The programme works fine in simulation mode and fucntions as you would expect using the up/down, left/right co...
