It looks like you are missing spaces in both the location and parameters. Also, are you using 64 bit windows? If not remove " (x86)" from the location.

Re: Program Wont Compile to HEX

Have a check in Compiler options/Compiler if the parameters are

For location:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Flowcode\v5\Tools\boostc\boostc_pic18_flowcode.exe

For parameters :

-v -t PIC%p "%f.c"

I think you set the "Programmer" params of PICkit in the Compilers params

Re: Flowcode V6 LCD problems

latest version is 6.0.7.0 (28/03/2014) If you have an older version (or installed 6.0.7.0 over an older version) I think it's best to first uninstall the old version, remove the V6 program directory folder and reinstall the 6.0.7.0 msi package who is a full install (not a patch) in administrator mod...

Support for Power Control PWM module

Hi,

It should be nice to have a component to control the Power Control PWM modules within the pic's like 18F2331/2431/4331/4431.

These modules has a lot of possibilities to control motors or other devices that need PWM.

Kind regards,

Re: Flowcode V6 LCD problems

Hi , Do you have seen this post about PicKit2/3 config ? http://www.matrixmultimedia.com/mmforums/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=12904 For the LCD component, it's working when using the same chart you used (but with different pin connections for me). That said I have a problem with the LCD component when usin...

Re: Problem between RGBled and LCD component

I looked in the forums and found in FCV5 a mod made by Ben in the LCD component to change the ports to latches, I'm unable to check if this mod has also be done in the FCV6 component because since FCV6 components are now in .fcpx format and no more editable :( Can you have a look ? Here is the post ...

Re: Problem between RGBled and LCD component

I tried a lower refresh with no success, when I disable the interrupt then the lcd works but the led output flashes (period of display is way to long for led update)

PWM outputs on 18F4431

Hi,

How can I configure the PWM outputs on port B ? When I use the PWM component I'm only able to configure the channels 1 & 2 on port C.

Re: Problem between RGBled and LCD component

Hello, I did some comparisons between the c code output of the FCV5 and the FCV6 and all seems ok. When I test the lcd module it's fine and when I test the RGBled module also. Only when I try to use the two on the same chart it goes wrong. So I have a question about the delays ... Should it be possi...

Problem LCD component (Solved)

Hi all, I'm starting a beautiful project for my fish-tank where I want to program some light transitions of RGB stripes with a DS3231 RTC and an LCD to monitor the whole thing :) When I test the LCD it's ok but when I add the RGB-led component (with the "tick" included in an interrupt) then the LCD ...

Re: EB-006-00-9 Driver issue

Just tested again with 18F4455 and Prgled flickers only two times at the beginning and then off but programming is ok.

So the only difference is the firmware on board as I have the last one that Ben send me.

Re: EB-006-00-9 Driver issue

I found the cause of board failing to program, and it was not a fault with mLoader or EB006v9 With the 2 second mLoader version, 16F1937 now programs just fine. Martin So we he have the same results  The only thing I can't understand is that my ZIF adapter doesn't work with 16F1937 on the V9 ...

Re: EB-006-00-9 Driver issue

Hi Ben, PICkit is back  I used the last Reflash procedure you send me (with PC-Loader). So here are my testings in a little table. I tested one time without ZIF adapter and one time with. 16F1937 seems to have a very strange behavior with/without ZIF ?? One remark also is when programming the ...

Re: EB-006-00-9 Driver issue

A couple of questions first... 1. There's an update bootloader button in mLoader, I assumed that was to update the firmware, if it isn't, what does that do? Good question ! 2. what would be involved in re-flashing the board myself? (I don't think I have the equipement to do it myself, I'm just curi...

Re: EB-006-00-9 Driver issue

Ben, As test purpose I just disconnected L1 and put a stable 15V over C18. Programming is then OK, so it has for sure to do with pwm out and time to raise. In my last post I said that the Vpp raised to 9V so I also tried with 9V over C18 and the error comes back (9V seems to be to low). Maybe worth ...

Re: EB-006-00-9 Driver issue

Hi Ben, Just tested with 16F887 and 16F1937 without ZIF and it doesn't program. I receive "1:Flash memory not verified-may be due to code protect" I checked also Vpp and it's start when programming and just after falls down to 5V. What I see on my scope is that there is some time needed before reach...

Re: EB-006-00-9 Driver issue

Hi Ben, Another question about Mloader, does the "Receive File" (suppose read pic) works on your desk ? Re: EB-006-00-9 Driver issue

Hello, Looks like we may be able to switch off the charge pump using mLoader and only bring it back on when programming. This means that if you power up the board the charge pump will be active but after using Flowcode/mLoader to program it will be disabled leaving the cap free to sit at a much mor...

Re: EB-006-00-9 Driver issue

Do you know that when the CPC is idle there is a voltage of 37V over C18 ? ... C18 is on my board warm... Mine is the same, I just measured. Considering this is a 25V rated capacitor, this is a problem that should be addressed, even if at the very least the capacitor is replaced with a 35V or 50V a...
