Re: Supply pins decoupling

Cheers Jac

thought so frequency .... nice to have it confirmed. Never had a issue with the MKS2's but I wont temp fate with this project but then again never had one ticking at 32 MHz before usually a lot less than this.

Morning All Whilst looking around on ICSP information I cannot remember what i what reading but the recommendation was to fit ceramic capacitors - why is this a frequency thing ? i automatically connect a wima MKS2 100nf across both supply pins. http://uk.farnell.com/wima/mks2c031001a00jssd/cap-film...

Re: In Chip Serial Programming (ICSP) Advice

After a bit of looking around microchips web site on the matter. There is a raft of information and some of it is somewhat cryptic and conflicting do this - don't do this. I found this info sheet that seams quite helpful. I know it is for a PM3 but this was found in a link on the PICKIT3 technical d...

Afternoon All, Bit confused looking to put a header so that i can connect a picckit 3 to my project and do updates if required. or when i change my mind on how it works. Looking at the data sheet and a guide from microchip was not sure so i looked at the EB006-9 programmer as this works. Can i...

Evening All As a test i am reading an analogue input as a string using a TL431 voltage reference set at 2.5 volts, this is ok. After 2 decimal places the reading is not stable i would like to read to 4 / 5 decimal places. Looking at the wiki https://www.matrixtsl.com/wikiv7/index.php?title=Component...

Re: Power Consumption on PIC12F675

Hi You can measure the current with a muiltimeter but It all depends what accuracy are you looking for? Some muiltermeters have uA range but the burden voltage of the meter is high this affects the accuracy of your reading. You can solve this easily using an external circuit. All you need is a resis...
