Re: Dc voltmeter 0-55v

Hello Derrihj

just be Careful of the current limit settings and temperature.

A rule of thumb for lead acid batteries when charged the current will be approximately 10mA per Ah
so your 18 Ah Battery will be around 180 mA when charged.

Re: Spring Contact Test Probes

Cheers AbhijitR & Ben

My main concern are they robust do they bend / break Easley ? Our guys are not the most delicate. :(
Do they withstand miss alignment a bit of rough handling i.e. putting the PCB into the Test Jig

Re: Dc voltmeter 0-55v

Hello Derrihj After thinking about your battery charger i have a couple of observations as you may experience problems / Have short battery life in the future. You mention that you are using a "Deep Cycle" battery? This type of battery does not like having a voltage on its terminals constantly once ...

transformer looks quite good, if you make another one you need to remove the surface rust from the laminates.

hi Silvestros599 Cannot look at your flowcode files at the moment unfortunaltley i would check that each test file works on its own. Did the pot work correctly ? are you using the control pins or SPI ? I made a LCD contrast adjust with a digital pot a while ago, https://www.matrixtsl.com/mmforums/vi...

Re: Dc voltmeter 0-55v

Hi Derrihj, Looks like a nice project, looking at the title of your flowcode project name. "Battery Charge Cut Out" Are you cutting off the DC charge current ? or using to offer "deep Discharge protection" of your batteries ? I must admit that i have not opened your project to look so see what is go...

Just had a look,

Looks like freecad can import eagle .brd files but the freecad forums have mixed reviews about importing eagle .brd files and the success rate
might have a go later when I have more time.

Re: Possable PWM Issue ?

Hi Leigh,

Had a quick play at the weekend, didn't have much time. Still not working yet
Did notice that PWM2 is mappable between 2 pins how do you change this ? in control the panel

Do you have to use the "APFCON Register code" . do I just use a c code icon before the PWM enable ?

Re: ACS712 component doing wrong

Hi Tadz

When using AC these type of sensors will output a AC Waveform
one option is by using a "precision rectifier" and a small capacitor to convert this to DC then the standard ADC component can read the value

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Precision_rectifier

Hope this helps
