Re: Use interupt on whole port on rising edge
Thanks all of you! I appreciate all of your input. But I have decided to step back from the interrupt idea for the switches, and use polling of the switches. I know this is different from my first post, but my only goal was to seek for an option to make the whole port an interrupt. Attached the way ...

Re: Use interupt on whole port on rising edge
Thank you Medelec35... But my problem is that the PIC doesn't react to the change on any of the pins on port-B. I would think that in the interrupt settings, the setting "interrupt on: PORT" would make the PIC look for any change on port B, or am I wrong? The INT pin on the 16F877A is B0, but isn't ...

Re: Use interupt on whole port on rising edge
Thank you Dan81,
But I'm going to use the 16F877A, the 16F877 is an older version and the whole project is built around this PIC.
I thought that it would be possible with the custom code in the interupt options.
Maybe it's better to make a polling macro where I program the flip flops..
Thanks again

Use interupt on whole port on rising edge
Is it possible to use the whole B-port as an interrupt detection, and what more, only on the rising edge ? I see the option interrupt on INT (that means the whole B-port?), but sadly I can't find a way to only make it work on the rising edge. I use the 16F877A and want to make pushbuttons on the B p...

Re: ECIO Not Programming Correctly
I found a way to get the ECIO working.
I normally use Flowcode V4, when I open V3 and make an empty flow and send it to the ECIO, it works.
After that I use V4 again to send my new flow and that was successful.
Hope you can ever find the reason why this went wrong..

ECIO Not Programming Correctly
In :http://www.matrixmultimedia.com/support/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=537 the problem of the ECIO not progamming correctly is mentioned. There are a few options which to look for, I have another problem. Sometimes I manage to program the 40 pins ECIO. When it does, and I use it later as a USB slave, I ca...

Re: Load bootloader in other than ECIO
I'm willing to sign a contract that says that I won't distribute the bootloader and will only use it for my own purposes. That's the problem with Flowcode/ECIO I guess. Absolute beginners buy these products with hope that they can use it later with other projects. The ECIO is great for that purpose,...

Load bootloader in other than ECIO
How can I make a regular 18F2550 to act as like a ECIO? I have the 40pin ECIO and I want to make the same project in real with a 18F2550 (that's an 28pins chip). This means (I think), that I need to load the bootloader into the new chip before I can program it via USB. Is there anywhere a tutorial h...

Program SMD via Eblock programmer
Which pins need I connect when I want to program a SMD version of a PIC via the Eblock Multiprogrammer (EB006-00-7)? I want to use a SMD version of the 18F2550 in a project. It seems a good idea to first solder the pic onto the PCB, and then connect certain pins with the Multiprogrammer to program t...

Here is the file the file
I hope you can find anything in it....
The problem is that the PIC can't be erased at this moment

Using 18F4685
I bought two 18F4685 and plugged them into my two Multiprogrammerboards. I started to make flows in Flowcode 4.3.7.63, but when I click "chip" "configure" the chip isn't in the list of available chips. When I click autodetect it warns me that the chip isn't in the list. I need to use expert configur...

Re: Powerup timer?
Thanks BenJ!
I think the power of Flowcode is "No coding, No limits".
For me this means not have to read 484 pages of datasheet, and still get something to work.

Powerup timer?
In the expert config-screen I find that the power up timer is by default disabled. Isn't it good practice to enable it at all times? It seems to me that enabling this timer makes the PIC more stable @ startup? Is there a reason the timer is set disabled as default? I'm working on a small project tha...

Re: Use onboard CAN in PIC
Off course I'd like to help. I just don't have CAN enabled PIC's yet to test on an Eblock. What I've done already is put the new CAN component in the component directory, opened two existing files that use CAN, tied them to a VNET and started them. I doesn't do what it should do. I have set the XTAL...

Use onboard CAN in PIC
Is there a way to use a PIC with CAN function on board, in Flowcode?
Can for example the 18F4685 be used without the CAN Eblock board?
The CAN component is written for CAN via a serial connection with the PIC.

Re: Can't connect VNET
After typing the above I dived back into the knowledge exchange article.
I found what I did wrong.
In the second program I needed to create a new client with a different name..
What I did was use the same as the first.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Can't connect VNET
I have Flowcode 4.1.1.55 and two flowcode files with a CAN project. (CAN1project.fcf and CAN2project.fcf) I've tested this with two Eblocks hardware boards and it works. Now I wanted to test it in the VNET environment but while trying I can not connect the two flowcode files. I have the article on h...

Re: Webserver component
Thank you BenJ, I have this teachers note.
But nowhere it speaks of the webserver component and doesn't mention any of my questions above.
It's a pity that the examples in this teachers note (EB921) aren't available.
Would have like to had it when I bought the Internet Board.
