Apologies if this has been asked before (I have tried searching!!!) but FC7 only shows ADC's 0 to 13 being available with a 18F46K22. I'm trying to access AN26 (pin 4 with a 44pin device) but I cant figure it out.
Any help would be most welcome

David
Many thanks for getting back, much appreciated.
I do need both the Comms A pack and the thermistor so thanks for clarifying things
Kind regards
Chris

Upgrade questions
Apologies but another question related to upgrading from V7 to V8. I got a far as pressing the button but I noticed that although my V7 license gives me access to the thermistor, I apparently need an additional module for the same functionality in V8. Is this correct??
Many thanks
Chris

Re: Thermistor clarification
Leigh Is there ever a time you’re not working!!!! :) Many thanks for an excellent and speedy reply. I really do need to use a 4 volt reference (for ADC stability in a very noisy environment) so a bit of maths routine on the byte value from the thermistor is in order I would imagine. Many thanks agai...

Thermistor clarification
I would appreciate please a bit of clarification with the thermistor component or more accurately, how it interacts with the ADC’s. I understand the components (thermistor and ADC) but if I define the ADC which happens to use a REF voltage of 4 volts and not 5, will that affect the values from the t...

Possible bug (or just me)
I'm trying out V8 (very nice) but I've come across a bit of weirdness which may be a bug or it might be me. I’ve applied Benj’s most excellent suggestion ( http://www.matrixtsl.com/mmforums/viewtopic.php?f=65&t=18311&p=78346#p78346 ) to default to a SMT view of the chip instead of a DIL. Works brill...

Re: Software Hysteresis
No problem. I had already applied the low pass filter that Steve highlighted and that resulted in a very stable ADC in a very noisy electrical environment but that alone didn’t stop the digital display constantly updating right on the point of a change in value. As a result I applied your second sug...

Software Hysteresis
I was wondering if anyone has implemented software hysteresis into their designs? To explain, I have a project where I read an ADC and send the results to a bar graph and a string on a ViSi display. The ADC is very stable but when the ADC reading is on the cusp of changing the graph and string to an...

Upgrade questions
A couple of dumb questions if I may before committing to V8 from V7. Will V8 and V7 happily co-exist. Reason for asking I notice with V8 you download the tool chain as well but it installs in the same sub-directory as the V7 compiler. Are they the same compiler or does installing the v8 tool chain f...

GPS Question
A simple question but I'm finding the answer difficult to find. With the GPS component (EB056, Generic NMEA), what units does the "ReadGroundSpeed" report. Examining the datasheet, depending on configuration, the module is capable of meters/sec, km/hr or even knots and I'm not sure what config Flowc...

18F6722 ADC Questions
Again, apologies from someone who's still learning fast but a couple of dumb questions concerning the ADC channels of the above chip if I may. I intend to use a voltage reference of 4.096V and I realize that any voltage on the ADC channels above this will result in the ADC "topping out" but will any...

Eeprom funnies
Hoping that someone can shed light on a problem that I haven't got with previous project using a 18F46K22 but is giving me real grief using a 18F6722 with exactly the same code. What I'm trying to do is to write to the Eeprom with a preset large number by breaking the number into 3 sets of smaller n...

Alternative Chip View
A small but I think useful addition I believe. Would it be possible to choose the package of the chip within chip view. All the chips I use default to DIL but I tend to use TQFP44 chips a lot and its a pain to keep cross referencing the datasheet to find where a pin in the DIL package sits on an alt...

Re: Chip configs
The chips are not being destroyed when I go back, its just that they do not seem to behave in the same way. I'm using a PickIT 3 as a programmer but as I said, the chips are not damaged in any way and I would agree, re-programming them I would have thought would have returned the chip back to the sa...

Chip configs
Apologies for what is most probably a dumb question but I'm getting really confused and frustrated. When I develop projects I build in steps. When a step is successful I baseline it and move onto the next piece of functionality building the project in stages. What I’ve noticed is occasionally when I...
