remove startup time ATMEGA328
Hi !, im looking for a way and your advice how to strongly reduce the startuptime of my controller. I have a Nano Mini with ATMEGA328P and programmed some effects for WS2812B leds. just my project cannot have power up before, but only at the moment I want to immediate run its sequence... the normal ...

Re: WS2812B first project
Benj, no push or so but do you have any idea when you might be able to make such an macro.? im now 'playing' with effects in strips of over 100 leds and having pieces in one color somewhere inbetween after one change instead of an interupt is making a lot  of macro's. Hope you find time soon....

Re: WS2812B first project
That would be great and would certainly clean my flowchart up! I have rows of 30 leds in single macro's now.
The 5&6&7... etc didn't work although no syntax error.
Thanks ! Angelo.

Re: WS2812B first project
well im programming a lot now and playing and teaching myself techniques along the way. I have a question though I cant solve lets say I have a strip of 20 leds and I want just the center 10 to lite up a certain color. the all led is not an option in these. I can make 10 macro's for each individual ...

Re: WS2812B first project
Thanks so much for that STibor! I immediately started reconfiguring begin the evening and and see the outcome in the system panel! just now took a break to thank you! did not realize the 'refresh' was a kind of send command at the end but it clearify's a lot. i just started with a 16F88 because i ha...

WS2812B first project
im trying to figure out how I can make something with the WS2812B work for my project. I'm at chapter one though with these and FC7... have worked with inputs outputs and calculations decisions and so on inFC6 but this is my first with Macro's in FC7. :? recent got my FC7 licenses with some extra co...

Re: showing bus data on a LCD display
reading and searching a lot to find a solution for my 'J1850 can/data bus reader' I found when i search 'Bus' in the matrix website I get a few hits. http://www.matrixtsl.com/search_results.php?SearchType=searchName&SearchText=bus So it is there! i'm probably thinking too hard about it....does someo...

without a scope it is hard to detect if data is send I suspect... anyway the 1602 number for the lcd seems pretty common.... martin says his works so... http://embedded.ifmo.ru/sdk/sdk61/components/lcd/WH1602B-YGK-CP.pdf If you don't have luck with another display or maybe reassemble your pic on tha...

Re: LCD Problem
the wires I have here are about 2''. To my knowledge (<- ) the LCD needs to have a 'Samsung KS0066U controller chip to control the actual LCD display' . it is in the datasheet from the link I gave in the first post. check if that consists with the display you have... Mine is from a module we...

Re: LCD Problem
Hi Mojoduck, I think your datalines are too long causing the timing problem and print other letters. I had the same problem. There are some tests in the lowest link of this page you can download. http://www.matrixtsl.com/product.php?Prod=EB005&PHPSESSID= I think if you open the .FCF file it will fit...

showing bus data on a LCD display
Hello, Down in the picture you see a serial signal from a J1850 VPW (variable pulse width) databus. I have tryed to capture the changing data for investigation with a Fluke 225c scoop from work. unfortunately the datastream is too fast for the maximum recording speed. there are many different signal...

Trying to get a C code in
Hi, i am still a novice in pic devices. i made a few nice projects but not the level i have a question about. i am looking for a way to put a exsiting c code in a C-block into Flowcode. i'm using a pic16F88. i searched a weekend and evenings on the net and watched many examples in the tutorials but ...

Re: Programmable pull-up resistors.
Thanks Kersing ! have new food for thoughts now :) will try that asap (too bad it's not a pull down option  ) Sure will look into that Martin. opens up possibility's. Hmm data sheet can be overwhelming. but that's all you see for the first time! Your help earlier on already helped great! drama...

 found in the 16F628A the same pull up resistor possibility! .HAd not looked before! THAT I can try here! but the datasheet does not tell much ... or is this enough? First the litlle text i could find from the 16F628 datasheet. what should I put in the c block here? looks like one command turn...

Aha! so it's possible to put C code in a custom 'window'. I'll try to create that in advance. Thanks!
Means possible I need to reverse all my bcd codes if a dip switch is ON to ground.. ah well.. keeps me from the street

Programmable pull-up resistors.
In my search to minimize the number of part in my project I discovered on a circuitboard from my work there are no pull up/down resistors used in parallel of a dip switch at the Bport of a 16F722 . Looking in the datasheet I learned this port can be programmed for ‘weak pull up resistors’. My questi...

Thanks again for thinking along Martin. this surely helps... TOP! Re: Decission question and loop number question
Super thanks Martin!!!!!! maybe a minor adjustment, but this will save me many lines and gives me so much more variables! I'm figuring out in a moment what you did to make it happen. EDIT: really cool solution to have it equates to 0 that way! I also get the decision . but what can I put in the deci...

Desission question and loop number question
Gentlemen… I need your advice….. I tried and learned a lot in the mean time but now I am at a point where I ‘think’ I have found a few ways to make my ‘layout’ more simple in ‘flowcode-ways’ but not sure if it’s possible ….., (I already found out how to make a Input number as variable delay for the ...

Oke, it works .
combination of setting the WDT in off position at two places and a good check of the osc circuit.
I'm not ready yet with my idea's but lets search the max of the demo version...
Thanks for looking guys.

I'll try that tonight. Oke..Turned off the WDT. now only led 1 goes on without any flash when I press the switch, nothing further happens...So it reads the switch.. and gives an action but does not perform the loopcount..Hmm
what command am I forgetting here?
