So V8 has been released!
I have to ask are there any help files included (me thinks I know the answer)?

Re: CAN Support,
Hi Why doesn't FC just allow us to use the internal CAN interface on a given uC sort out an interrupt for received addresses which have been setup up and have done with it? The actual physical connection can be utilised with interface chips. Going out and trying to find CAN chips then write specific...

Re: Libaries (various) & Flowcode
Hi Ben, Unfortunately I do not know how to port code - that's why I purchased FC  As using Arduino libraries is not yet possible, is there any news on the 1wire component request I asked for quite a while ago now (via PM) I supplied soo much info and links to info on you to do it? You've actua...

Libaries (various) & Flowcode
Hello all,
Whats the latest on importing, say, Arduino libraries or similar, into FC can this be done yet and if so how do they get used?
Thanks

Buzogany,
Why do you want us to recreate the wheel - is it a homework question ;-D
DRV10970 Sensored
DRV10974 Senseless (is one example, there are other in the family)
Let me challenge you - lets have a look at your flowchart first

CANbus
Hello Everyone,
Is anyone using Flowcode and CANbus for Automotive interfacing - just reading OBD codes. If yes how successful has it been and does the FC macro work with the different OBD formats.
Thanks

On no it didnt. The Fluke45 did not "learned" you a lot" the Fluke34 taught you a lotfaveremario wrote:

Re: Looking for the best solution to solve this common ground problem
Hi Joshua, Interfacing to inductive power loads can be a dark art. Not only that consideration must be made to transients and back emf problems. You have not included a circuit diagram so it is hard to help you further. Your best bet is to buy a dedicated driver board to control the motors and you j...

1 Wire Component Request - of sorts!
Hi, I've been struggling trying to develop a 1wire search routine for multiple devices for a while now and I have to give in and have to ask for some help, not only with a search routine but also the CRC calculation. Would it be possible to have a component based on the DS2480B Line Driver which not...

Re: Automotive PSU
He Steve,
Good to here from you again.
Yeah 12Vdc nominal and I think 14.4Vcd charge possibly upto 15.2V - (I cant remember if AGM's have a maintenance de-sulphuring 15.2Vdc type cycle)
I will have a look at the links now
Matt

Automotive PSU
Hello Everyone and Happy New Year, It looks like I need to put a microcontroller into a marine (diesel automotive) environment. Re: Stepper motor Drivers in flowcode
Hi FC does not assume you will be connecting a stepper motor directly to the microcontroller or any other motor for that matter! FC sets up and configures the control waveforms needed,, YOU must supply the buffers/drivers to interface to your chosen motor. How can any microcontroller supply 2.5A ish...

Re: FC7 d/l to UNO board
Hi Billduck, After Leigh's repy pertaining to Comm port allocation I thought I'd give you a little heads up on my experience. I also use an Uno(rev3) with Win 10 and FC7. As with all things USB the order in which you do things can have a bearing on success or failure. I installed FC before plugging ...

Re: UART - Decision on Received Bytes
Hi Ben, I think the code in principle is exactly what I'm after. I was thinking of the same idea just dont how to do it fully. Im confident I could read in a byte of data when a RX Int was triggered and use it with a decision but it's the next stage I'm struggling with. How and where do you read the...

Re: Lowest Cost and smallest possible size PIC
Hi, You could of course choose an arbitrary PIC and write the code etc then you will glean the size of memory needed which would also help you choose which uC to go for in MAPS like Qmesar suggested. don't forget you can always change the target chip afterward and just change the designated pins to ...

UART - Decision on Received Bytes
Morning everyone, How do you go about receiving and then acting on multiple received bytes from a comms port. So, say I setup a transmit AE 12 AC (whatever) how do I act on these bytes to do some on the receiving end, what is the decision method to extract the data from these bytes and act on it - h...

Re: Quick and dirty RPM meter
Thanks Ben, Just to make your suggestion clear in my mind - you are saying that you would count internal timer pulses based on the rotation time and not counting he crank pulses in a given time. (As I wastrying to do. If this is indeed the case and assuming a 10sec timebase, when you multiple the ti...
