Re: Bad mistake in FC8!

Hello Steve,I have the built 1903 installed, but it happened before this upgrade after any update. The problem with registry delete and reconfigure I already know from the time before Built 1903, now just the shutdown prompts have become a bit more common.Christina

Re: Bad mistake in FC8!

This issue occurs with Single Instance and also with Multi Instances of FC8. My notebook has the Intel integrated graphics and also a Nvidia graphics card. I use the Intel internal graphics because the Nvidia drivers are mainly optimized for 3D applications. In addition, the error occurs in both gra...

Re: Error in character representation in a string

Hello Ben,
I found this mismatch in the simulation, so I'm going to test that routine inside the MCU.

Many thanks

Bad mistake in FC8!

I'm using FC8 last update on Windows 10, 1903. Since an update of MS and only in FC8, my PC says goodbye with the following error: Pic2.jpg This occurs mainly when I create, change, or just list variables in the Project Explorer, but also in the simulation debugger, when I delete or add variables. W...

Error in character representation in a string

I'm using FC8 last update on Windows 10, 1903. If ASCII characters smaller than 32 or greater 126 are contained in a string, these are represented as hex numbers. For normal programming, certainly no or only a small problem, but I would like to program an encryption tool and because it may very well...

Re: Com-Port Interrupt in the Simulation

Thanks Medelec, I'm already testing with a workaround. But with an ESP8266, Bluetooth module and a Nextion display, the simulations would be more realistic.
Nevertheless many thanks for the answer and the offer!

Com-Port Interrupt in the Simulation

Hello Matrix Team,
is there a way to implement a com-port interrupt in the simulation?
Would simplify many tests!

Thank's Christina

Thanks Ben for the answer and the right tip! I installed the C ++ Redist 2015 and now the com ports are visible again.

Thank you!

Problem with Com Injector [Solved!]

In use FC7.3, last update from 04.12.18, Windows 7 64Bit. No matter if I open a new FC7 Prokekt or take an existing one, I can not assign a Com Port with the Com Injector. If I click in the Com Port field, it is empty, there is not a single list entry, but at least 8 ports should be available. Pleas...

Re: No port selection with Injector (COM)

Thanks Medelec for the hint. I have unlocked all feature packs (since version FC3). But the note in the text on the version FC8.1 was good, I had not considered that I'm looking for a newer version. The automatic updates will spoil you quickly! With FC8.1 I have my com ports again. Many Thanks! Chri...

Re: No port selection with Injector (COM)

Thanks Medelec for the answer. On the notebook I have in the Device Manager 7 Com ports, on Tablet4. I have meanwhile tested FC8 on a Windows 7 installation without updates and the same on a Windows 10 tablet, also with FC8. The bug also occurred on both installations. Then another FC7 installation,...

No port selection with Injector (COM) [Solved]

Hello, maybe someone has an idea? There are no ports listed in the Injector (COM), the field is empty. I am using Windows 7 Pro 64Bit and FC8 with ECIO40P16. I do not even know if it's Windows or the flowcode. The only changes are updates of Windows and FC8 that have been done. I hope someone can he...

Problem with the 24C32 memory component [solved!]

Hello Flowcode Team! I am using an ECIO40P16 MCU and Flowcode 8. I have a problem with the 24C32 memory component. I transfer a lot of data to the configuration of my controller, because a string is sent to the MCU via WLAN and then the memory cells are written in a loop. Under FC7 no problem, under...

Re: Error opening Flowcode file

Hi, I had a similar problem. After installing a Samsung 860 EVO SSD, I installed the supplied software "Samsung Magician". Everything worked fine, until exactly this described error message came when opening a FC file. When checking with an editor (Notepad ++) I saw that parts of the file contained ...

Re: Problem with BME280 under FC8

Hello Ben, I was a bit cheeky when I reported the mistake again. I forgot the settings in the component properties. These values I have from a comparison BME280 and BMP280, entered in the test file, forgotten in my main program: Humidity oversampling x2 Pressure oversampling x16 Temperature oversamp...

Problem with BME280 under FC8 [solved!]

I use FC8 with an ECIO40P16. I have a BME280 in my circuit, working well under FC7 24.4 degrees, 49.2% RF, 992.3 mBar). With FC8, temperature and pressure do not work (-142 degrees, pressure 1195.98) and humidity shows incorrect values (38% instead of 49%). Can someone please look at that? Thank you...

Re: A question about modulo calculations

Hi Martin, thanks, the time and date feature of the DS3231 is sufficiently accurate and with the ability to calculate the day of the week itself, it is also independent of any unsatisfactory aspects of a clock chip. That's enough for me. I have sufficient space for program and data, I use the ECIO40...

Re: A question about modulo calculations

Hello Martin, my problem is that I'm using a DS3231 that spends the day of the week, but postponed by up to 2 days (Tuesday instead of Sunday), constant throughout the year. At the turn of the year, the deviation was reduced by one day. I've included a routine that corrects the deviation, but that's...

Re: A question about modulo calculations

I have the german wikipedia page with the same Gaussian formulas and monthly corrections. After I use 1 for Sunday and 7 for Saturday, there is still a conversion over a byte array. This is pretty good. Here is a first (hopefully) working example.

Thanks again!

Re: A question about modulo calculations

Thanks for the answer. There should be a correction in Excel, because the result is -6 mod 7 = 1. I am looking for a formula to calculate the day of the week including the leap years and in a formula suggestion there was exactly this case. I'm looking for a working formula, but thanks again for the ...
